Fast & Deadly – Episode 65 – British Legendary Campaign

It is time for the ultimate evolution of the battlecruiser. These final two ships will be our fastest and most heavily armed yet!

This campaign was recorded using Admiralsnackbar’s balance mod which you can find here https://forum.game-labs.net/topic/40790-uad-rebalancing-mod-for-13-v1/

  1. Bearing inmind the wolds bigest battleship yamamoto was i think around 72/73000 tons and your building a battle crusier over 10000 tons more. A bit expensive dont you think.

  2. Even though is would not be historically accurate it’d be cool to name two of the super battleships: King George VI and Princess Elisabeth (Elisabeth II) as a kind of tribute to the two most recent monarchs excluding Charles III

A lot has happened in a month. First, we emerged victorious in two big fleet battles against the Imperial Japanese Navy where we sank a bunch of cruisers. As a bonus, the Okinawa Islands are now part of the British Empire, thus giving the Pacific Fleet a big base in the Western Pacific because they can go there and repair, refuel, and resupply our warships faster. This also allows us a faster respond time for any future aggression in the area; however, Admiral Munro decided to send the fleet over to a small island off the coast of Formosa (Taiwan) in hopes of drawing in more Japanese cruisers so that we can sink them. Speaking of cruisers, Admiral Munro has recently designed the Incomparable-Class battlecruiser. They are appropriately named because of their 18" guns and 39 knot speed. However, I do hope Admiral Munro designs a super battleship at some point in this campaign because I would like to request the name of the class to be the Eclipse-Class with HMS Eclipse being the lead ship. I chose the name Eclipse because this battleship is meant to eclipse all of our previous battleship designs, and as a reference to Star Wars.
Join us next time as we attempt to sink more Japanese cruisers.

  4. Have you had a convoy battle where the transports were not escorted by warships yet? I reduced a country's navy down to nothing while blockading them, and this gave me three undefended transport raids in a row last night. I felt bad engaging in such a merciless slaughter. Then two more just like the first.

  5. You go so heavy on Anti-Torpedo. I've found on large ships, getting a better Aux Engine, and wirh Anti-Flood 3 you have more than enough to take a fairly big few hits from torps.

  6. 12:30 after seeing this design you should’ve reduce to speed from 39->37/36, but when you decrease it ,add it worse so here my proposal: 4×3/4×16”/50 main guns keeping the 82,500 design will save you around 4,335 tons if you are using x3 16”/50 mk3 but at the end at 15:06 you f8nosh the design you wanted oh well I tried at least Munro
