Re FatDr UK – they haven't been working in medical practice for a while.
Mental health definitely has an impact on body weight.
But only because it impacts the food choices that people make, whether consciously or otherwise.
Fat doctor was under review for making threats against other doctors along with cyberbullying people who disagreeed with them.
Good Monday mourning y’all
I can want to be healthy and reasonably fit without even thinking about politics. I get to change my life, others can deal with their own.
(I'll offer advice if asked, but I still can't control other people)
I want to know who would sign off on "fat studies" becoming an academic field.
If starvation mode worked the way FAs think it does, the third world would have a much higher rate of obesity.
Bread and rice make sense when sun up to sum down manual labor is the norm and there is nothing else.
Even then, it is not ideal.
Furthermore modern bread and rice are a FAR CRY from the ancient grain food stuffs our ancestors ate.
It is not comparable.
I have seen FAs complain about the toilet paper thing before — seemingly ignorant that it is so close because many wheelchair users who use a disabled toilet are not able to lean over to grab toilet paper. They are asking to make toilets less accessible because of their eating habits.
This fat doesn’t come from the air or by magic. These characters got this way by gluttony and laziness. The grave doesn’t care about all this self centered logic
FAs blaming chairs when they break them remind me of when my then 2 year old neice tripped over a toy then proceeded to yell at the toy.
Since the four mentioned passed away several others have also passed, all under 40.
TFD crying about how they can't work in medicine anymore after telling the board to go fuck themselves is something else.
everytime i hear fa people claim its not the food that is killing them i think of this skit https://youtu.be/LFCnvsxES5E?si=tKfNWSIPJL-PkA6_
How is it that these obese individuals not understand that they do not have a good relationship with food. That they do suffer with disordered eating
the kingdom analody might be the stupidest thing i have ever heard. a kingdom that cares about its citizens does not "store up more food" during a famine. They use their extra stores to relieve the famine. exactly what they are trying ti say doesn't happen.
At 30 seconds Waffler didn't die solely because of weight related issues. He had a heart issue he was born with if I remember right. He died as a result of whatever health issue he had vs his weight being the cause.
God these people are such weirdos
Jaime Lopez owned a beauty salon and spa for plus-sized women. It's a shame that she died at such a young age, though.
I mean, that's a good thing, right? There are 8 billion people on Earth. Natural selection is finding its sneaky ways. Grass will grow greener, sun shine brighter and those who survive this era will reproduce and pass on the wisdom that mindless indulgence is lethal. The housing of those perishing to teach humanity a lesson in self-restraint is gonna enter the market sooner, too. A win-win-win in my oppinion.
I went on CICO last summer and I suppose those 18 kilos are stored somewhere in an external warehouse.
Also, I'm not restricting nutrients. I'm restricting Kinder Joy.
Intuitive spending. BAAI. Buy at any income. Any type of intentional budgeting, balancing checkbooks, and reading receipts are NOT ok. Okayyyyy?
WAY prefer the longer videos like this, even if we have to wait a little more for them. Thanks for the hard work!!
Where to start? I'm exhausted!
Left wing/right wing: can see the writer's implication.
Conservative politics seem to be all about the paradoxical bootstraps, no-one needs the social safety net, if you die you deserve it. And they do think lefties are all jobless bums looking for a handout. To be frank, looking at policies and rhetoric from the right that doesn't seem too far off their beliefs (if they don't mean it they shouldn't say it).
Of course, in my opinion the conservatives are wrong on all counts.
And the writer, although perhaps accurate about the right wing, is – in my view – wrong (and insulting) about people who get fit. I doubt the gym changes many people's politics. Interesting to consider whether any other sports might influence one's world view…climbing for example, tends to foster mutual trust which (my turn to be insulting) seems not to be a conservative trait.
Calories: not checked the history of the calorie but that bit about igniting in water sounds intriguing, wonder where they got that from? Current definition is more prosaic: energy needed to raise the temperature of 1 litre of water by 1 degree C.
If the author prefers dramatics over definitions, I'm going to be distrusting anything else they might say.
Forgotten what else I meant to say so will just add, thanks for the video!
Losing 60lbs has started a chain reaction of getting the rest of my life in order. I’m getting counseling, getting out of debt and studying for my GED so I can finally go to college for a business degree!
Jamie lost a lot of weight in the end. She really fought for her life. She just wanted a space with chairs strong enough for anyone, where nobody would feel judged for their weight. She got that, and she still chose to fight to better herself up until the very end. It's not fair to lump her in with these other Fat Activists.
One of the most despicable things about the gigalards, is how they just throw a tarp over the body, then smiles and keeps waddling around, claiming how being a gigalard is amazing.
"My body is craving cokecane. So, that must mean that my body knows best, and knows there are vital nutriments in cokecane that is essential for my survival!" /S
Oh no!!! The fat Dr. used buzzwords!!!!
How can we argue against that?!?!
If you weigh more than 200lb's you aren't riding my horse.
That person who chose one of the only “sports” where u have to sit! Hilarious 🤣
rolls were hitting people.
