This show blew me away. If you are reading this and have not watched Farscape- just do it! It takes a few episodes but some of the best TV I've ever watched is seasons 3-4 of Farscape.
I loved watching Star Scape until the creepy old guy in leather came in. Just can't watch that creeper.

Yes I agree wholeheartedly. This is still one of my top fav sci series. Nothing else has come even close to its vividness, insanity and brilliance. Other top sci fi series I loved was firefly. ❤

Farscape was years ahead of its time. Even with the show being finished in PeaceKeeper wars, I still think that there are stories that can still be told in that universe.

i remember i started watching it, and the little guy on the chair was annoying, the big guy was annoying, and most of the crew and the premise were annoying. But im going to give it a try again.

I need help, there’s a scene from the series, where John is at a bar and has to pretend to be a new recruit. In the scene there’s some music playing in the background, I need to know what it is!! It’s driving me insane. The beat and melody are so catchy.
I think that space travel scene that threw him into another part of the universe would've been cooler if it has been shot like interstellar. Perhaps they were trying to hide the graphics, but I think it would have been fine if they had removed the shaky camera and captured his full facial expressions of wonder as the flames wrapped around his ship, he approached the "lightning field" and then was warped through that singularity that looked like a large blue throat. Supplement the graphics with good acting and you have a more compelling scene.

Time travel is absolutely, proven, possible!
But only in one direction and it is not very fast, though as you age, it gets faster!
I don't ever remember seeing this the first episode but have seen a fair number of the shows over the years. It is rather like discovering Stargate Universe which is another great series which I now have on DVD that I am yet to watch again. I am going to stick with Farscape to get a better feel of the thing!

Definitely just as good and right up there with Star Trek way better than deep space nine just watch it you won't regret it it's one of those shows that actually do get better
Always kind of wondered why John wore a motorcycle helmet in a spacecraft… Because it looks cool? Same with the flight suit. What good is that in space?
