if I use treacherous sand walls in a farm in the jungle biome, would it still spawn desert enemies?

They might've changed some things since this video came out (which was only four months ago). I tested it yesterday and you can now have a spider farm by just placing spider walls behind where your character will stand. No need to put them anywhere else.
My unsafe walls don't spawn that biomes enemies. Not sure if I am doing something wrong or what. I have a normal volcano style farm just like the video says. No biome specific mobs. Just cavern mobs. Splain dat.

Fore some reason the dungeon mobs wont spawn even though I filled all requirements? I have way more then 250 walls and they can spawn on pink bricks from dungeon. I'm also standing in front of the dungeon walls. any ideas?

What he doesn't tell you is that the dungeon walls also spawns the mages that go through walls and will kill you
