Hello and welcome to the World of Micah! I travel around filming everything and anything I find interesting –from theme parks to abandoned urban exploring. If you enjoy learning more about Disney history, tips & secrets or a fan of Walt Disney World nostalgia you have come to the right place. I also enjoy showing Universal Studios history and taking a look of what’s left of from classic attractions like JAWS and ‪Back to the Future‬. More of an Urban Exploring fan? I travel around Central Florida and film everything from abandoned Toys “R” Us stores to abandoned attractions. I’m also a major Movie Buff! I have found the filming locations from such films as Edward Scissorhands, Halloween (1978) & Hocus Pocus!

  1. Wow I started going in the 70s; I can’t believe this 😮. Well maybe consider reaffirming your commitment or vows in front of new barn. Have friends & family there night before for a fast food dinner party for the celebration. This adds to your beautiful story & the spirit of joy you created then.

  2. We loved the buffet; our daughter had been in the DCP and said it was a big favorite with the starving cast members. We’d gone back last year but the food and service just weren’t up to par.

  3. “I’m getting tired of saying farewell to things, I actually care about at the Disney parks.” It’s sad and unfortunate but it seems to be the new norm for Walt Disney World. 😢 But yeah, I’m with you guys. I spent many years growing up staying at Fort Wilderness as a kid and I remember eating at Trails End for dinner when it was a buffet. Lots of great memories there.

  4. That's Disney for you. They are cutting corners and removing things and not turning around and using the savings to put back into the resort like adding more benefits like mini golf or something like that.

  5. Thank you for taking us along on your nostalgic trip to Trail's End and Fort Wilderness. Such great memories for the two of you! Was that calliope carriage used in a Disney movie years ago?

  6. We feel the sadness, too, Micah. On an older note, we ‘discovered’ Mizner’s Lounge at GF about 10 years ago. And the orchestra! We came to Florida at least once a year and went to GF for cocktails, jazz and a little dancing. Followed by dinner at one of the great restaurants there. Now the lounge has been replaced and the orchestra is gone. We’ve stopped in Disenchanted Rose a couple of times. It just won’t click with us. Anyway, all corporations feel they are eternal. We are merely passing through and new guests come every week. Changes are made and life goes on. And one day only these videos will be left to chronicle and remember places like the old Trails End.

  7. I'm just so disgusted. The pandemic brought several negative changes to Disney and Trail's End is just one of them. They had the BEST buffet there!!! I enjoyed being able to create my own plates from all that was offered. We celebrated several birthdays there. 😢

  8. Love this Vlog. My earliest memories of Disney are staying at Fort Wilderness with my Grandparents. We loved Trails End so much and I will always treasure those memories. I said the same thing as Abby that it sounds silly to be sad that a restaurant is closing, but it’s really not silly at all. Glad you got to have one last good visit before it becomes a full quick serve restaurant.
