  1. I have a vague memory that Corman had to make this movie because movie rights were running out of time or that he had to make F4 to gain rights to another character.
    It´s still nice campy fun.
    Fits nicely with other very early Marvel movies like Dr Strange -79, Captain America -90 and Hulk and Spiderman tv series.

  2. Not for nothing, but if they hadn’t made this steaming pile, Jessica Alba would still be auditioning for Soap Operas and the guy everyone is ga-ga for as Reed Richards would be selling soap. Sometimes corporations get it right. Oh, I almost forgot, “ia, ia, Cthulhu take the blue line to O’hare so you can catch your connecting flight to Detroit.” Or something like that.
