A Pachelbel Fantasia with a fugal character, played with a powerful plenum registration. I hope you like this one! The title in the video is wrong. It’s written in D minor. Here you can find the score: https://imslp.org/wiki/Fantasia_in_D_minor,_P.124_(Pachelbel,_Johann)
Played with the organ from the Martinikerk in Groningen, the Netherlands (Hauptwerk)

Very nicely played — a great start to the next 365 ! It almost has the underpinnings of "Vater unser im Himmelreich." I always enjoy the Martinikerk — it's a well-done sampleset .
Sending best wishes and prayers to you and your family for a blessed new year!
A beautiful, energetic and polyphonically charged fantasia!
A glorious 'Fantasia' by Pachelbel with a fabulous performance by you, Rien, on the gorgeous Martinikerk Organ sample set: bravo!
I like this piece a lot like most work of Pachelbel. All well-crafted compositions
Grandiose piece and grandiose “Plein Jeu”. Well done !
Very nice ! Bravo Rien !
Superb playing Rien! Thats a nice Fantasia
It's nice baroque music, indeed and nicely played. But I've never played Pachelbel by myself (except his Canon in an ensemble), I guess, on pneumatic organs the sound is disappointing. What do you think?
Very beautiful baroque piece as well as your performance.
🙂
Thanks for sharing this piece. Great solemn postlude idea.
Hi Rien! I love this Fantasia that I've played many times. But while searching for it in my (digital) collection I wasn't able to find it, because…. it is catalogued as "in D minor" (P.124). Which is the correct denomination?
Great piece, well played. Strangely enough I don't know this Pachelbel piece and can't find it, I absolutely love it (right in my alley). What edition is it in?
Prächtig vorgetragen Rien.
A very moving and impressive work. Not easy to play, but you can do it very convincingly. It is simply magnificent!
Fantastic Fantasia! ❤
