I saw the movie tonight and had no idea Ciara played Nettie at the end. Didn't recognize her without make-up. Anyway this remake is epic and magical. It's a great tribute to the original so you really don't want to miss it.
This movie is sooooo good! It's better than the original Color Purple! I would've never thought they'd get the character's down to a tee. No pun intended, but Fantasia better than Whoopie, Hailey is fantastic along with the younger version of Fantasia's character. Taraji's better version of Shug Avery! Sophia is right on point! Love her musical renditions along with Fantasia as well. Harpo is great and his daddy, Mr. he a darn fool. When he's drunk, OMG!! Ciara's perfect as her role. I will see it at least three time's!😍🖤💥
