I've said this all along when Trump keeps spouting election interference regarding his many court cases. He was fully aware there were several investigations happening, with a strong possibility of prosecution in the future. It was also clearly mentioned that running for office again would not halt or stop these proceedings. So instead of calling this election interference, I think the better term would be judicial interference. Trump is trying to use his candidacy to avoid prosecution.
