Considering how people idolize serial killers no a memorial would NOT be a good idea. They bulldozed Gaceys home too, its just an enpty lot. I think to futher prevent truama they need to keep no memorials. I mean thankfully the one in my state for Columbine High School has remained respected fun fact, I was actually going to that high school with my elementary school for a big brother reading program that day but the shooting happened first and we locked down instead of leaving to anywhere. But no, I don't think a memorial should be put up in that area, the ground needs to remain bare. They could do something somewhere else for his victims though.
He literally is just like Michael Myers and Freddie. He's had at least 2 films and a TV show about him, the only difference is he actually did this stuff.

Yea for every high profile killer there’s always people out there who send them love letters. Even start relationships with them and marry. Have conjugal visits but I’m not sure that’s a thing anymore. I’ll have to look that up. But yea it’s twisted
In real life Jeffrey Dahmer was never flaunting and taunting people like that in prison lol. He was in a single cell away from everyone up until he decided that he should transfer into the normal part of the prison. Didn't take long for him to get murdered after that, and he knew it would happen and wanted it to happen. But yeah all the cocky weird behavior and caring about fan-mail is all just dramatized for the show lol.

I am an avid autograph collector, and I have known about this thing called “murder-abilia”, where for whatever twisted reason, folks want to collect memorabilia from famous serial killers, mafia bosses, gang leaders, and other crime lords for the sole purpose of selling it for big money later. Everyone from Dahmer to Gacy, from Gotti to O.J., all got fan mail requesting autographs, paintings, drawings, response letters, etc. Look it up. It’s wild!
