  1. Is the drunk driver wealthy? I know a driver from a very wealthy family whose name you probably pass on bank signs every day. He killed his best friend and maimed a stranger in a drunk driving accident. He got a year and a half of house arrest, which was more of a slight life delay than a punishment. It was more punishment for his wife who had to do everything outside the house alone and take care of the idiot. He was actually sentenced to two years' house arrest and ten years probation. But when his wife left him because of the alcohol, the last half year of house arrest was dropped, and he was a free man. True story.

  2. Why wasn't she charged with two counts of gross vehicular manslaughter with felony dui attachment? What is the DA doing? She ought to get at least 20 years with no possibility for parole.
