I was going to have my lab attack trained back in the 90s. Thank god the trainer i hired was reputable and fantastic. He explained why it was a bad idea for my particular situation. I decided not to do it and was always glad for that decision.

I dont understand why any1 would buy a dog and send it away for trainning. You train your puppy from day 1. Omg! Their surprised when their dog does simple commands.

I have never seen any of these that mention that when a dog reaches puberty it can alter considerably. The amount of 6 to 9 mth dogs in shelters is amazing. Our springer spaniels were the worse.teenagers in dogs can be like human teenagers. They will try to get the better of their parents/owner.they obviously know better😂

It's really telling how much its affecting the children when the little lass says Our dogs fight right into Victorias face 😔 The owner was a pillock 🙄 The reasoning, the complete lack of research, his astonishment that a persons arm would be gone or mangled as opposed to broken bone, his incapacity to Train the most Basic training with a puppy he knows is going to be a big dog, let alone a Whopper of a dog!! I was about seven when I taught my puppy to sit, stay, wait at the kerb and wait for traffic etc. This plonker couldn't even do the basics 🙄 I'm just incredibly grateful they called Victoria in ❤

What is their reasoning for needing an attack dog? Are they targets? It makes no sense.
So they have absolutely ZERO obedience training or basic training with a presa canario and their first thought is to put it through canine defence/attack classes????

Victoria if you are reading this I just want to tell you I love these videos… I don't own a dog but I recommend your videos to everyone with dogs and also use the tricks when interacting with dogs… Or at least I try to… It's hard to react by hiding your hands when a dog jumps up on you when they see you 😅
"I don't want to be putting my family in danger . . . stressing my wife out." Then don't get her a giant dog. They're not machines that you can just turn off when you don't want them to react.
Presas are natural guard dogs with people and other animals. Dog that take personal protection training are more similar to German shepherds, rotties, etc. Very few people are going to even look at you with a Presa walking next to you. However if they want a personal protection trained Presa that is their business.

so you have multiple dogs the other two seems pretty untrained and you have a little girl and you go and get you a presa canario and you didn't even trained that presa with normal basic training and obedience training but you thought it was a good idea to turn him into a weapon? did they ever had a question about if their daughter throws a tantrum and hits the mom or dad? Because I know for a fact it will not gonna end well! My relatives had a dogo argentino names Oscar and he was trained well but they still kept him in a cage outside ! You have no idea how these types of dogs can get to. I have a 7 yrs old Maltese terrier so I can't even imagine!
They have the word “prey” in their name- presa
my Doberman can also "neutralize an attacker" but he is also a trained and socialized service dog, however I have no doubt if someone broke into my house he'd take care of business. I don't get it, do people not realize that you do not HAVE TO train a dog to attack for it to know to protect? Even a lab will defend its home and family from an intruder.
If protection dog training is done properly no problem with it
If you want a protection dog, I’d go for a GSD (although I am biased as I love GSD). A lot more trainable and if raised correctly absolutely fantastic with kids. But also very protective of their family. They’re not usually trained for attacking, but more defence and will attack if necessary. But even then they need training from the start to train them out of ‘mouthing’ (basically puppy biting) and other bad behaviours before they get too big, strong and over dominant
