Fallout: New Vegas (TTW) | A Gary in the Mojave | Modded Hardcore Mode | Low INT | Part 9
Once upon a time, Gary 66 left the relative comfort and safety of Vault 108 in the Capital Wasteland. Somehow, he made his way to the Mojave and landed a job as a courier for the Mojave Express. As fate would have it, one job turned sour and he developed a mild case of bullet-head-itis. The side effects of that condition have left him with the ability for speech beyond just saying….”GARY!”
This is my first playthrough of Fallout: New Vegas using Tale of Two Wastelands. The bug fixes, optimization and other changes are such that it is the best way to play FNV.
This character build will be low INT (to unlock the “dumb” dialog options) and focus on using pistold, shotguns and explosives: no rifles, no AMR, none of the weapons I’m accustomed to using.
In addition to TTW, I’m also using a combination of ROOG, SawyerBatty, BLEEDLESS and Famine to rebalance and introduce a level of difficulty that I’ve never experienced in this game. In short, the gameplay for this series will be very, very different from how I’ve played FNV in the past.
