  1. The only way I know you could fix your reputation with the Brotherhood is to complete the Lonesome Road DLC on a peaceful ending(No spoilers). In the end you’ll get enough reputation but I don’t know if it’s worth it – this DLC is the final one and is not recommended to play it so early.

  2. You should go to Horowizfarmstead northwest of there is an encounter you will get one of the best weapons in the game from. Its located close to the burnt out caravan from Casses quest the one near the road up to mt. Charlston.

  3. If you loose one of your companions and can't find them by any means fast travel to the gun runners and on the terminal next to the robot you can send your companions home just go back where you found them originally and pick them back up

  4. As someone who, prior to countless play throughs, made a habit of telling followers to "Wait" and then losing them due to a lapse of memory of that as I continued adventuring – not exactly sure if it applies to THIS game, but in Fallout 4 after 3 in-game days of "Waiting" followers will get bored and go back to their home.

  5. Fighting the brotherhood locked you out of getting veronica to follow you. I think you had to recruit her first, tho for the game to recognise that you're vilified to trigger her response. Never wear faction Armor! Unless you want to disguise yourself. Especially NCR has alot of enemies.

  6. What a long way you’ve come since goodsprings! I do enjoy the way you interact with the characters and think out the dialogue choices, so good! I guess you know at this point saving before interactions is pretty crucial. Benefit of hindsight for your next playthrough. For now, it is what it is 😂

  7. I would like to note that sometimes there are more dialogue choices further down that you can scroll to. You have done this before, but don't always notice it. There is a scroll bar on the left to indicate when this is possible. Like for example with Caesar, there would have been more options, you wouldn't have had to promise to kill Mr House.

  8. My sympathies at missing out on your opportunity at getting Veronica a dress, one of my primary goals when playing New Vegas. That'll teach you to do your own thing in favor of straightlining to the Strip via the Nevada Roadway system. My recommendation would be to delete your game and start over. 😁 A New Vegas without Veronica is like a day without sunshine.

  9. In classical latin, all the C's are supposedly ''hard'' (Other letters were pronounced differently before the middle ages). The difference in pronounciation with Caesar is only a cool indicator of cultural differences between Legion and outsiders.

For instance: When the historical Caesar said Veni Vidi Vici, it sounded something like ''Weni Widi Wiki''

  10. I dunno if you watch many TV shows but if you want a crash course on Roman history that's MOSTLY accurate but is also a really fun watch, there's a really great show made by HBO called "Rome"

it's a pretty high production drama with these two roman legionnaires as the main characters, but it also heavily delves into the life of julius caesar and octavian (later augustus caesar), showing julius' rise to power after conquering gaul, up to the installation of augustus caesar as dictator

  11. It was julius Caesar who crossed the Rubicon to attack rome and its senate. Julius was Augustus great uncle and adopted him , Augustus became the second "dictator" but he was very fond of julius.

  12. There may be a way to gain favor with the brotherhood again by completing arcade gannons personal quest and looting the power armour from some brotherhood guys and using it for a disguise but I’m not sure if this will work

  13. It was Julius Caesar who crossed the rubicongainst Pompei and the senate. He famously said "let the die be cast" as he ordered his men to cross the rubicon. In Rome, it was forbidden for the legions to cross the Rubicon, it was seen as a border that cannot be crossed, metaphorically. Because they didn't want any general to take control of Rome with military force. And anyone knew that crossing the river meant death and all other generals and legions would come to kill them. Unlucky for those people, Caesar's legions weren't loyal to Rome, they were loyal to Caesar. He crossed the river with his loyal 13th (XIII) Gemina legion.

  14. Mojave I love this series, but if you feel like playing football, play football! It is much more enjoyable to watch you play a game that you feel like playing at the time. Let the next video be football again so that you can get your football cravings satisfied, and then come back to New Vegas when you really feel like it.

  15. I think veronice can still join you if you have neutral or negative relations with brotherhood but once you have "vilified" she refuses. The only thing I can think of is, there is a scripted mission where you meet the Brotherhood through the NCR quest line. I don't know if following that mission, at least initially, will get you access to Brotherhood bunker. I think it's the mission For The Republic II. But I don't know if it still works when you're vilified, you're just gonna have to try it. Oh and, MojaveD, I suggest the next time you level up, take the Explorer perk, it unlocks all locations on the map (you can't fast travel to them unless you visit them first). There are so many places that you have not discovered yet. If you want to discover them without the perk, you shouldn't use the fast travel option so much.

  16. I know it’s disappointing

But unfortunately Veronica won’t be your companion if you’re vilified with the Brotherhood

Veronica’s my 2nd favorite companion behind Raul and her quest (I Could Make You Care) is really great. Unfortunately, you can’t do it this playthrough. I’d urge you to save more often to try to prevent situations like this in the future

  17. The face you made when you realized that you had unintentionally fooled Caesar and took him for a complete rube was golden hahahaha. While it's incredibly annoying about the Brotherhood of Steel, ultimately these things do happen and it does come along with this being a blind playthrough. I'm not entirely sure but I think one of the DLCs has an action that resets you to neutral, but it's also the DLC most people consider the "true end" of the game, rendering that of little real benefit.

  18. Mojave, im not sure if it'll work but try using a brotherhood of steel outfit and get in the bunker, maybe then youll be able to talk to the brotherhood and get a better reputation.
If anyone knows if this works or not please let me know.

  19. We’re here for all the ups and downs so don’t sweat it.

This episode was great, got a lot of laughs out of your attitude towards the Legion. I wish I knew what to do about the brotherhood but I think I’ve said this before – they’re easily skippable and not all that important. It’s impossible to see everything this game has to offer in one playthrough, so even if you don’t make amends with the BoS you’re not missing much.

  20. There is actually a way to salvage both your relationships with Veronica AND the Brotherhood:

    1. Load your manual save before you talked to Veronica
    2. Do Arcade's quest, which rewards you with power armor training
    3. Put the armor on to reset your reputation to neutral
    4. Recruit Veronica and start doing Brotherhood quests to improve your reputation further
    5. Take the armor off once the reputation is high enough

  21. Every character in the game has SPECIAL stats like you! Caesar’s intelligence is one or two lower then Snuffles, the mole rat at Sloan. You saying he’s dumb reminded me of that.

  22. I think maybe the best chance of getting on the Brotherhoods good side is to find their normal clothes somewhere in the wasteland if not, doing Arcade's quest so he can teach you to wear power armour and then find one of the dead Brotherhood members in the wasteland and wear their armour.

  23. If you wanna talk to the leader of the desert rangers at camp golf he shows you how things really are in depth like a chat with cesar its deep hes inside the mansion at camp golf he explains the backstory and how they rose in new mexico to Nevada 📝
