  1. "You can't all have been at Bitter Springs!"
I mean they all could have been there at some point. Just probably not during the actual event named for it. Maybe he just shot some refugee kids in Bitter Springs and got the taste for it.

  2. Bitter Springs is so damn annoying. It doesn't really fit into the rest of the setting, either. "Boo-hoo, I had to shoot up women and children!" In the Fallout universe, there's no discernible difference between men and women in terms of combat capability, so the female Khans would be just as much bloodthirsty killers as the men. As Regis and others will tell you, most Khans learn to shoot as children by killing civilians, so the kids aren't innocent darlings either: they've already been trained to murder unarmed people just trying to farm and survive. And the elderly? "Oh, let's have mercy on these people because they're old." I wouldn't offer leniency to geriatric MS-13 members, and the Khans' elderly deserve none either considering their brutality.
While most of New Vegas is pretty well-written, Bitter Springs just clashes with everything else.

  3. Interesting that the Automag in this mod isn't actually an Automag at all, it's a Wildey. A similar pistol chambered in either .45 Winchester Magnum or .475 Wildey Magnum. Charles Bronson uses it in one of his movies, can't remember which.

  4. Oh the 45. Machine pistol is a OTs-33, sometimes called "Pernach" after the Russian flanged mace. As Far as I know they never made one in 45. The one I shot was in 9×18 Makarov. They made it deliberately blocky to cheapen the production value and make it easier to build too compared to the Stechkin APS. It's a cool gun.

  5. After all these years of watching Mike and Zach play these games…Am I seriously only now realizing that Mike's character is just a NPC Companion and not a mod for Co-Op playing??? God I feel dumb! 🤦‍♂️😫

  6. IIRC The automag doesn't fire .44 magnum, it fires a .44 AMP round which is a .429 sized bullet out of a case based off of a cutoff .308 case that has it's mouth reamed, rendering it a rimless cartridge. they also had the .357 AMP, and the .300 amp based on the .30 carbine. honorable mention is the rimless .475 wildey from deathwish, that's also a famous movie mega magnum. I just suspect clint had trouble with it because he was a boomer using a boutique magnum handgun and expecting a very low production gun to be flawless

  7. "at least the roads are safe" is the post apocalyptic version of fascist asshats and their "at least the trains run on time"

edit: apparently another new company has bought the rights to the auomag and apparently they don't jam all the time anymore?
