  1. I would love to open a collector booster box. I just started playing again since 1997. It just makes me sick to think of spending over 300 bucks on a box now. And even more soon apparently.

  2. I almost bought the Mutant Menace deck this morning, but I started paying an extra $150 a month for insurance this month so I am going to wait and try to get one at the end of the month.

  3. my case is because of it being the set with most new cards and new potentional commanders, aswell as those few reprinted cards is cards that is very often used in every commander deck so that i dont have to order singles all the time since i love building commander decks, i have about 12 commanders and planing on bulding more and i see cards that could fit in alot of my already exsisting commander decks 🙂

  4. I am waiting for the only store in my area with some of these left to open in a few hours so I can open my box. Also getting the set of 4 decks for a friend who is stuck at work. The availability of this in my area dwindled fast, and not from preorders. My usual store had their order cut on them, and they couldn't honour some of their existing pre-orders. Not sure what is happening, but glad I found a store a few towns over with extra product since their usual clients canceled their orders.
I am also in the same boat in that I know Fallout, but had no interest in Dr Who. Still loved the boxes, had some great stuff in there, but I did not connect to the theme.

  5. Personally im kinda bummed about this set. No weapons, tons of main characters and creatures are missing all together. Vaults could have been special lands unless im missing that. Just so much more should have been done espically at this price point. And no set or play boxes is also just weird.

  6. I seem to remember that WotC said Fallout CBs would be in short supply due to printing issues

Whether that's truly the case or they're just controlling the market to drive up demand is questionable though

  8. Some pretty good pulls there. I bought in at around 300 a box, and then waited to see what would happen. I can never tell what wotc will do. The demand and box prices are up right now, but will they release another wave? The fallout market, I believe is huge, and depending on how well the tv show does, it has the potential to get really big. But buying a box for 400 to 450, I dont know man, seems risky. That being said, what an awesome product! Loved the fallout gaming series.

  9. Fantastic box, so happy for you man especially that surge wasteland. And I think it's great flavour the bobbleheads are super rare, yet still uncommons cause they're just a bobblehead after all, just like the games. Thanks for the opening.

  10. IMO it's a design mistake to start using card styles like VATS that do not look at all like different color cards. Yes, this has been a creeping issue with card design. But the two blue VATS styles you got look nothing like blue cards, so much so that the blue pips look like errors. This harms the games distinctiveness and the ability to read the game state through card colors.'

Edit: I think the main issue is that the blue VATS cards seem to not have the distinctive color accents at the top of the card. This is most obvious on the green ones, but it seems a poor color choice or maybe printing error on the accent that was supposed to visually indicate it's a blue card.

  11. I buy sets for the cards, the Universes Beyond IPs by themselves don't draw me in as much. I do like the flavor of some of the cards in this and Dr. Who, never having gotten into either. There are cards in Warhammer, Dr. Who, and Fallout that I do like as game pieces, though

  12. Just opened mine last night! I think I did pretty good but nothing crazy. Foil sol ring, foil nuka-cola cola, foil farewell. Then a non foil farewell and nuka-cola and an int bobblehead. Some other great stuff too but those were some of my favorites. Only thing i didnt get that i REALLY wanted was the Radstorm 😢
