To be fair Zach, you did get your Pip-Boy from a Vaut-Tec scientist, possibly one high up the chain of command. Also, Vault 114's projected experiment seems downright cuddly compared to Vault 43's experiment. The vault residents would have consisted of 20 men, 10 women, and a panther.

Honestly, discovering the idea for Vault 114 and the Soupcan Harry interview were one of my favorite moments while playing Fallout 4. It's just one of the few times you actually wanted Vault Tech to succeed.

I don't think "any" Pipboy can open it. I think the one that the Lone Survivor picks up is one with administrative access. Then again, maybe I am wrong about that.

My favorite way to clear this isn't to talk them down, its to blow them up. Since the entrance is the same as the exit, I drop a whole load of landmines before proceeding with Vault 114. Since you're dropped straight into dialogue at the exit so the mines don't go off immediately so you can take whatever path you want and they still get blasted to Hell

When it comes to no one mentioning the fact that nick is a synth I think it would be okay if we got the impression the people who do it aren't afraid of synths and just see them as people. But instead…there is literally no reason for them to not mention it
I find it out the the silver submachinegun when made into a real gun, is only unique in that it has it's own texture… yet it's still just a submachinegun, you can even scrap it! Yet all other special guns don't have unique textures… It's just, really weird of Bethesda to do that..

The block on the end of it with rebar is the thing being driven forward by the power fist, not the bar you hold onto. The bar would get driven into your hand, not ripped out of it. Watch one of your followers use one.
But no, it wouldn't rip your fist off, and who on this planet has grip strength so strong their hand would get torn off before they lose grip anyway.

Tbh a pip-boy-only lock is WAY more secure than the "open it from either side with a flip of a lever" system all the other games have.

To be fair, the pip-boy you picked up at the start of the game belonged to vault-tec so it probably had special bullshit on it which allows you to open vaults. Probably.

I think it's a human mind in a robotic body kind of like the exos in Destiny but without the memory scramble and the data is slowly starting to corrupt itself.
