  1. Jon, penetrator will go through, I've been able to pop Lorenzo through the glass stealth crouching. You just have to get the legs on the edge of wall and glass, sprinkle some Bethesda magic, and Lorenzo regenerated all my damage almost instantly and made a "pooft" that staggered me until the ambremaline field was on. Then I opened the door and put all my .44 ammo into him via Kellogg's pistol spamming crits on every last shot to reset AP and continue the abuse.

  2. Jon, 2 things to remember.

    1) Loot the named raider in the Parson's basement and check the tables in the holding area where Lorenzo's cell was. You can walk away with 7 vials of the serum. You can use 1 vial of it to cure a sick patient in Far Harbor after the initial defense of the town if you choose to do the DLC

    2) Contrary to what he said, you will have to go back to Parson's to speak with Jack about the artifact.

  3. Still not really sure why Jon's putting in so much effort to upgrade the Gamma gun. Neverending just means you don't need to reload, not really something to write home about. 😛

  4. Hey John, did you know that Brother Thomas respawns if he dies before Emogene Takes A Lover? I had that happen once, a random group of Raiders murdered the whole cult so I did the Cabot House questline just for science and he was magically alive again.

  5. Jeff is probably going to be traumatized for the rest of his life. Here's a few of the foreseeable headlines and bylines:
"6 dead in botched Starlight Rescue. 'Shoot that civilian' says crazed man."
"Dog fighting ring broken up. Man's Best friend is rescued."
"Massacre at the Amphitheater! 'They were a cult' says senile man."
"Done Deal! Commonwealth's first medical facility funded."
"Guns Blazing! Journalist caught in adrenaline ridden bloodbath!"
"Children of Atom sect eliminated! 'I need a good Gamma Gun mod' says lunatic."
"Lunatic checks in to Insane Asylum, finds and kills immortal man."

I'm now realizing that this reads like an average day in Florida.

  6. I love that this is a case of wanting to create a stable market to make money in the future. Too many people think all businesses are only interested in the short term, goid businesses are always playing the long game.

  7. Jeff:
    – Witnesses literal war crimes
    – Discovers and shuts down illegal dog-fighting ring
    – Single-handedly charges down raider encampments alongside the brotherhood of steel and a pre-war mayor in a feathery dress
    – Is a spectator during a major deal involving the only healthcare provider in the region
    – Exposes and destroys a profiteering cult
    – Explores radioactive dump because aforementioned drugged up mayor wants a fun gun
    – Meets the love of his life
    – Meets unkillable juice loving blood man
    – Helps murder unkillable juice loving blood man

    Also Jeff:
“Some guy got his arm stuck in a toilet and it was awful”

  8. Star Control date 0044.
Hot off the back of request number 43, I submit another devastatingly humble and earnest request for Jon to play Star Control 2.
It is, again, his favorite game- regardless of if he actually knows it or not.
