From Season 4 Episode 5 βHidden Dangerβ: Around the globe, more than six billion people have traveled on a Boeing 737. Theyβre the backbone of the aviation industry. But in 1991, something happened onboard a 737 that sent shudders through the world of aviation.
Almost two years after the crash, the NTSB had studied the crew, the weather, the rudder, and thousands of other pieces of evidence β but they canβt solve the mystery. For only the fourth time in its history, the NTSB release a report stating the cause of the crash of flight 585 was undetermined.
On September 7, 1994, a year after the report on Flight 585 is released, the killer strikes again. Another 737 β this time US Air 427 β crashes near Pittsburg. All 132 passengers and crew are killed. Investigators begin to quickly see some striking similarities between US Air 427 β and the unsolved case of United 585.

Sending the parts back to the manufacturer to decide if their part caused the plane to crash. Doesn't give that company a lot of incentive to blame themselves if indeed their part did fail causing the crash. I hope they leave a NTSB agent with the part. Or does the manufacturer get an exemption from prosecution if their parts did cause the accident. It seems like wolf guarding the hen house.
Definitely sure there werenβt any intact bodies with the speed and the way it crashed
Three strikes. And they were almost out.
Planes are a BAD idea.
Finding metal shavings in the oil doesn't sound like something you'd just "dismiss." That metal has to be coming from somewhere inside the component. So that means that somewhere inside this valve the metal is being ground up.
No more Mayday clips for me. They are too repetitive. Time waster!
This exact episode was uploaded a month ago and multiple more times π€¦π»ββοΈ you have 22 seasons + extras, upload something you havenβt uploaded here before, donβt just reupload episodes with different titles π©
I guess this is my life now. Just gonna sit here and watch these same eight or nine episodes over and over and over until I die.
Wow prayers for all on this plane here so horrible
When the plane first lurches…i'm getting concerned. And when the plane violently goes completely sideways…i'm thinking we might not make it. But when i hear the female copilot scream but its drowned out by the male pilot's EVEN LOUDER scream…i'm just gonna bend over and kiss my ass goodbye.
How's about a heater cover over the valve? π€
But, the corporate ceo's still get to wipe their butts with $100 bills because wiping with $20 bills is just too rough…and that's the true definition of suffrage, right? π
Flight attendants don't even get paid until the plane is in motion so for that hour or so when they are helping people to their seats they are working for free.
Our system is so Evil because it's built by the Evil-doers that do nothing but lie, thieve, scam, and extort just for more, profit, power, and control.
But, yeah, they're the good ones that are looking out for us. Ridiculous.
The third pilot was smart to figure the problem out.ππππ
I had the problem solved within 13 mins of watching this video. It's so weird the EPA wants the oil specs. to change and be more earth friendly. But keep hiding real time information. That is until they have a loved one parish from negligence.
For a full decade we were flying on planes that would give no warning before they flew themselves into the ground and we didn't care?
That right there shows the difference between the owners and the consumers. The owners would never allow that on their own planes. But, WE? WE don't matter…only the amount of money in our pockets matters to them.
Please, pay your flight attendants a living wage AND pay them when they are actually working even though you don't begin to pay them until the plane is in motion. Ridiculous. Just like the crew that crashed due to fatigue because they couldn't even afford a hotel room.
One of the worst parts of all that is that we didn't even know the airlines were being so criminally negligent and greedy to the point of catastrophe or I'm sure most travelers would drop them a dollar or two as a tip so they can at least get a full nights rest before flying dozens to hundreds of people, their friends, and their families thousands of feet in the air in a flying metal casket.
Shines a very bright light on the psychosis of GREED, power, and control. Peace
This is not from 21 hours ago
the flight recorder boxes always seem to survive intact, so why dont they make the entire plane out of the same material?
Someone needs to get on making more videos or just give up. Everyday there is a "new" video that we just watched last week.
God…….mmmmm…….PRES. DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER was a Jehovah witness. You see death reach up and grab the 737 with some kinda vengeance against people, lives snuffed out in an instant. I can't wait to talk/meet this creator that calls life a gift!!?…..may these people RIP.
We don't need any new ones. Do y'all forget ppl have died to create these old ones? We don't need anymore new ones. This is not pimple popping. Many have died for us to binge watch. Let's pray no more. God bless
Well, it took ten years to figure out the problem and it took away many lives to change the issue.
I'm surprised that they didn't put the valve through thermal tests in the first few months after the first crash.
It always amazes me what these investigators are able to ascertain from the pieces of wreckage. I find it difficult to comprehend how they determine that something was broken before it crashes into the ground, rather than the crash itself was the cause of the destruction. Example, in this video they talk about finding dirt on the inner part of the jet, confirming that the engines were working at the time of the crash. But how do they know that it wasn't the jet crashing into the ground at 450 kilometers per hour, that got dirt in there?
3:55 Flights in Ohio be like π
Wow, some of you people are whiners. Go watch something else instead of crying about reposts. It happens all the time.
10 seconds can feel so long. π
Clearly this channel has the "profit over everything mentality" unsubscribed.. great job!!! Good job losing followers. Maybe upload your videos one more time and make it 5 times re-upload.
why do manufacturers not make a lifesaving module parachute system that might save lives in catastrophic incident????
We think we have an issue with the power control unit. Let's send it to the MANUFACTURER so they can investigate and implicate themselves.
The NTSB is the biggest bunch of buffoons on the planet. If they don't have an easy target like the pilots or the maintenance crew to blame they are useless. They are absolutely corrupt.
Two different pilot crews are NOT going to go hard over on the rudder. How much time and money did they WASTE on trying to do everything they could to find some way to blame the pilots?
How can we believe Boeing manufactured aircrafts any more???
In the Colorado Springs crash, it hit so hard they could only identify people by their fingerprint fragments.
At 4:33 the crashed aircraft shown is not the accident aircraft that this documentary is about. Itβs the tail section of a small plane.
It's hard to imagine being in the NTSB and having to fly into an airport where a plane had been blown out of the sky by wind.
We don't use kilometers per hour in the United States. Nobody would have a clue as to what you were talking about?
Boeing is a perfect example of American Corporate Culture. The culture of who cares if it is safe just get it out on the market asap, Ford and GM are also good examples of that culture too
Why are newer episodes from the later seasons never uploaded? These are the same older episodes over and over again.
any flight surfaces such as rudders and ailerons should be limited in movement unless overridden
by pilots
they investigate over 2000 aviation accident a year . And then people try to say that flying is the safest way to travel .
"It is jammed, stopped working completely, take a look!"
Well that's what they've been doing Sherlock, they've been looking all this time, they see it, you don't need to tell them to look you idiot cause THEY ARE STILL LOOKING!!!
The things that terrify me I watch on YouTube. Crashes: Trains, airplanes, cars (since 2014), ships
I never hear any mechanic being held accountable. And like driving a bus when you hop your ass in the seat and take off with 40 to 50 people you hope the brakes, steering, etc is good. At the beginning of this video you have a FEMALE with face expression never seen a male face on video like this. They have cameras on buses operators not on airplanes Amazing isn't it.
High and fast? Then they would have had a runway excursion. Fire your writers
Amazing the plane broke up like that, but in the old days they could bring down 3 buildings And only hit two. 9/11
