I really wonder, if they continue building the Cloverfield universe. So far it seems to get more and more difficult to connect everything, especially with the manga too.

Fun fact: We have the technology and ability to solve this problem now. Yes, its a work in progress, but its possible: Green energy, ocean wave motion, solar panels and more are all available and be scaled up. We're even looking at ways of better energy storage each year and honestly our ability to move away from fossil fuels at least for transportation is a policy choice.
Now as for the movie, I like weird stories like that pose alternate realities. The cast was pretty good as well.

We see the monster at the very end. So they say look it's a Cloverfield movie. It had nothing to do with Cloverfield. The movie sucked.
