  1. Regarding chorfs infernal ironsworn are probably the best elite infantry unit in the game which also carries them situationally. It's just that it's the unit type that is the most easiest to play around with since it's a lot of value on one slow multi-model unit. Big issue for their cheap crap is that Malign Authority passive just has too low numbers so the intended mechanic of the greenskins sticking around if there are chaos dwarves nearby just doesn't work in practice. So you essentially end up with skaven infantry that costs extra for no gain. Hobgoblin archers are the most expensive basic non-AP archers in the game while also having pathetic 130 range, it's like some intern was shown a bretonnian fire archer and told to make the same unit except worse in every regard.

  2. Just a comment on terminology: these are races, not factions. Factions are subdivisions of races, e.g. the factions Naggarond, Har Ganeth, and Cult of Pleasure that are part of the race Dark Elves.
