Could you tell me is there a limit to how much of your army goes into reserve (50% of army max) or is there still a auto lose if you have everything in reserve and nothing on table?
Belakor unlocks all the warp storm and stratagems in the codex by himself. He is very important.
Belakor can:
1) use the entire nurgle psychic discipline
2) tzeencth teleport strat
3) khorne 4+ deny the witch
He has massive potential
If 1 warlord trait was a mistake and they fix it I’ll be extremely happy with the codex.
Also Khorne just randomly having only 6 starts compared to everyone else’s 8 is just so weird. Reinforces the idea they just hate Khorne for no reason
The heal is really crap IMO. 5+ heal is shit
You don’t even want to deepstrike flamers because they have a 25/30 inch threat range with fly
Is there anything in the rules to make clear that BLUE SCRIBES can cast a power that was already cast in the army?
Since it is automatically manifested does it get around the rule of you can't attempt to manifest a power already attempted. So save blue scribes for last?

I love the flavor they gave Daemons in this codex. Plus everything seems to fit with the different god factions.
The ldr/attrition combo seems like something orks will struggle against.
I think the part of the plaguedrones that actually hit hard are the flies themselves, which have Malefic. To my understanding, Malefic weapons cannot be altered in any way…so only the riders would receive buffs, making buffing drones pretty bad.
How do you suggest playing around things that deny deep strike?

Warp Talons in a Disciples army get some pretty good Strat support
A Night Lords Army with some Slaanesh allies can do absurd damage, both in psychic and in melee.
Any non-Night Lords Army can benefit from the changed Contorted Epitome (it now halves the movement of units next to it). If your melee has the Mark of Slaanesh, you can use a 2CP strat to move 3'' when someone falls back, combined with the mirror it is similar to no fall back with extra movement (Night lords have their own no fall back for 2CP)
2:50 Okay, genuine question: How is this new codex supposed to be less bland than the previous book?
Chaose Demons lost every single special rule they had (Feel no Pain, Advance and Charge, Fight First, etc) it got replaced with… Nothing? It's literally nothing. All your models cost more, have better stats and lost all their special rules.
This is the most boring faction in the entirety of the games, even considering nerfed Custodes.
