  1. Gee, reading the comments reveals a great deal of distrust in Boeing, and corporate "assurances" in general. Can't say I disagree, especially since Boeing's CEO walked away with millions of dollars in benefits and cash while leaving behind two whistleblowers' deaths. Today's CEOs are merely yesterday's train robbers.

  3. Fake titanium is always a big deal! Really? There is a very important mechanical engineering/ metallurgical reason they use titanium in the first place. Who is selling fake titanium? And why didn't Boeing catch it?

  4. Why didn't they investigate them when they were building the airplanes where was the quality checks where was the inspectors from the government that should have been there through every step of the manufacturer

  5. I’ve been in the aviation industry for twenty-five years and this sounds to me that what the FAA really needs to investigate is the level of training pilots are getting. Too many are getting run through a fast track pipeline and forget half of what they’re taught. Everybody learns about Dutch rolls in flight school – or they should. And the low approach absolutely is pilot error. The reason they’re going after the manufacturer instead is probably because the FAA is increasingly full of cop wanna-be’s with little experience in the industry looking to score a big violation.

  6. i’ve heard that former employees of Bowing have mentioned safety concerns with cheap or defective parts. it’s been months since i heard the story but i think they spoke out with their concerns & have been ignored. is this going to be another case of waiting for hundreds of deaths before anyone takes action???
