Just to let you know, not all F-15s are STRIKE Eagles. The F-15E is the version known as Strike Eagles.
They were designed for air-to-ground ops. Previously, they were solely air-to-air ops.
Top Air Force Generals had pledged, during its development, 'that not one pound would be designed for air-to-ground'.
I will still FAVOR the F 14 TOMCAT.
Hopefully….in the future….an aircraft manufacturer will build….THE SUPER TOMCAT.
