Marya Padour is head gardener at a remarkable garden in Chicago, created by the late Posy Krehbiel. A wonderful example of ‘high horticulture’ with exuberant summer planting combining perennials and annuals. Noel is joined by top garden photographer Andrea Jones whose pictures we see.

Thank you; enjoyed this. I don't think you mentioned the title of the book (perhaps I should already know it 😕). ?
I’m so sorry I missed this one live. What an amazing garden. I am astounded that they’ve managed to successfully treat that splendid ash tree to protect against the dreaded emerald ash borer.
What a joy to find this! Posy was a dear dear friend and I was lucky enough to stay there over the years. Marya is too polite to say this, but she and the team did an amazing job readying the garden for Posy's memorial service last September. It was astonishingly beautiful, and as we were all leaving, clouds of dragonflies appeared. It was very magical, and a perfect tribute to our beloved Posy.
Incredible artistry! What a treat to see this. Gotta check the Conservancy to see when it's open–worth a trip there!
