REED….YOU MADE INSIDE EDITION……WOO-HOO……YOU AND ALEX…….INSIDE EDITION SHOWED VIDEO OF YOU!!!!! INSIDE EDITION SAID THAT YOU WERE STORMCHASERS CHASING A TORNADO WHEN OTHERS WERE RUNNING FROM IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Unfortunately me and my family were in our home when this tornado hit us, it was the most terrifying experience I’ve ever had. We lost most of our personal belongings but I’m grateful nobody was injured or worse and made it out safely that night. It’s honestly a miracle seeing how we survived that after looking at the house the next morning. It ripped I giant oak tree out of the ground and threw half of a huge pine tree in my backyard. We were in the hallway when it was going down and the AC unit that was next to us, got launched out the top of the house and flew around 1000ft or more away from the house.
I have been following your work for well over a decade. This video proves you are more experienced than broadcasters who can not figure out that you were so close to a tornado you needed to yell to be heard. Discouraging storm chasers that are working in the same conditions from communicating about changing conditions creates dangerous conditions for everyone. In addition to locating hundreds of funnels so that residents know where to stay safe, your enthusiasm (yelling for joy of watching how storms function reflects your education about the complexity of these processes. I think this is a pleasant way to help people become calmly curious about what twisters might do after arriving in their neighborhoods rather than sticking heads in sand/or stop talking about how things work. We need scientists AND broadcasters just like our bodies need brains and arms. I just get annoyed when the arms get so jealous of the brains that they let their fingers start poking out the eyes.
Wow!!! This video chase is a prime example of Reeds motto " Never Stop Chasing". Outstanding Work Dr . Timmer. Ryan Hall talking and checking on you and copilot while this is happening is even more intense. 👍👍👍
Reed cracks me up!! I feel horrible for laughing while watching this scary & devastating scene lol Edit: I thought that tree is where you got the flat but you're still going. Do you have run flats? Assuming yes because it sounds smart now that I'm thinking of it!! 😁
Have know idea how you missed the tornado in Madisonville?? You were right there! So glad you two are safe though!! What a ride at night no less!! Why was Alex filming behind him at the last? You could tell his adrenaline was flowing, I’d had already peed myself!! Great video, thank you!!
wreakless much?
I'm glad you guys are okay. It easily could have gone the other way.
You screaming at the guy because a tornado is about to get you ? Him too. Unfortunately he doesn't have the expertise you do. Hopefully he's okay.
Screaming and then the calm gathered voice of Ryan chimes in… lol
So wild! Been watching you for a long time. This was a wild one
I slightly saw a red sky when the thunder lighted up
You're gonna go down in history as the craziest and best tornado chaser ever

😱
For once a YouTube video title that is actually as advertised. Damn, y’all. A huge night wedge. Hearing Reed swear his ass off was entertaining too. 😂

From the College area was scary. Thank God it passed over.
00:43 tree falling and power arc. They nearly drove into that tree as it fell
Shit seems crazy.
