  1. I am sure you are meant to scan your bus pass when riding the bus, that was the system used in the Netherlands, I travelled for 2 days before I found out how to get a pass and to scan it.

I was at my local post office sending packages to customers when I got a text from a customer who said he no longer needed his part for his 3D printer as he had got it working, I had already scanned his package in but the postmaster managed to take it off, when I got home I got the emails confirming the packages I had sent but the cancelled one was on the list, never mind I thought I haven't been charged and I have the part here in front of me, however, whenever I got an update the cancelled one was included, I think they just send you the route and locations as a default message until they go out for delivery to the recipient and then they actually get scanned, I then received a call from my customer about 4 days later, he had got a text and email from the post office saying his package had been not been able to be delivered and could he come and pick it up, I told him they didn't have it and told him about all the updates and that he should ignore their emails and SMS.

  2. "Hand built" motorhome? Adz, you not been to a UK manufacturer? They're all hand built from what I've seen.

Machines are only used for the shell pressing of multiple plys together (probably cheaper & quicker than a dozen fat guys sitting on them to make sure the bonds stick the plys water tight), and cnc for holes (where the doors, service flaps, windows etc go).

    The furniture – hand made
    The wiring – by hand
    The plumbing – by hand
The chasis (for tourers) constructed like meccano, by hand
The shower cube, built by hand

Cnc is also used to shape the wood furnature contained within, but its all put together by hand.

I've worked for many caravan manufacturers in this city, and they're all made the same way (by hand).

In fact, i'm heading back in the factory now to double check if the holes are machined, or by hand, i will edit in a mo if needed.

Correction: all the holes are by hand.

Machines just for bonding plys, and furniture edging. Machines for curves in the furniture and bulk cutting, and wrapping the wood grain effect.

Of note, near all van wood is a ply combo. I cant say more than thatz as i may violate trade secrets. The reason for ply, is to make it as light as possible, so there's max-load weight left over for the occupants and their belongings/food/water.

  3. I've just found you here on YouTube..it was good fun watching you chase the pidgin haha I noticed you stayed at a campsite in Luxembourg… The couple that run it were on the Dutch tele for a while because they have a lot of kids…so they were on a reality programme…the eventually emigrated to Luxembourg to start that campsite…I recognised it straight away! I could also tell by the Dutch accent! I'm English but I emigrated to the Netherlands years ago! I've liked and subscribed to your channel…can't wait to see what you get up to with your dry sense of humour πŸ«£πŸ«’πŸ˜†πŸ‘ŒπŸ˜€πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ€πŸ€πŸ€

  5. Sometimes Royal mail tracking seems to show little movement as if a parcel is stuck somewhere and then suddenly you get a delivery. I suspect when Royal mail is busy and delay is threatened they just stop bothering with tracking and their system stops getting updated. When you think a sender has paid for tracking they should get a bit more than a website saying package received at depot and a week later on a update saying package delivered
