Explosion kills 1, injures another and wipes out a home in Missouri

An explosion in Cuba, Missouri left one woman dead and a man badly injured.

Neighbors say they felt the ground shake and then a massive fire broke out. The neighbor yelled for the man who stayed there, found him and dragged him to safety. He then went searching for the woman and found her on the other side of the destruction. Unfortunately, she had died.

  1. My house is right by that one. It was a scary sight to see. Heard a loud boom and though nothing of it since ww live by the interstate and tires from semis pop all the time. Prayers for my neighbors and their family

  2. The sheriff's office wanted to respect their privacy the new said oh hell no we're telling everyone it's not about their privacy it's about our financial gain it's time to stop broadcasting people's personal tragedy for the sick twisted people that get their entertainment from other people's tragedies and try to make it about themselves humans are twisted

  3. So the sheriff's office didn't release the names to respect the privacy of those involved … yet in this video, you not only named the exact street they live on, you also showed crystal clear footage of precisely where the home is located. It wouldn't take much effort for nosy people to figure it out. It would have been better to crop the shot of the home and not name the street if you wanted to also respect the victims' privacy.

  4. That's awful. God bless the survivors and help them deal with their losses.
Gas in a house scares the crap out of me. Wouldn't have anything to do with it myself. Grateful to have solar and burn all the sunjuice I need to stay warm.
