Yeah, they're a lot worse now. Arknights, one of my favorite mobile games, scales to small city level with Talulah and my brain turned to mush at the level of contrivance they had especially with their speeds. This counts for certain animations made, especially since they took the 2nd anniversary animation with Amiya vs Talulah into account even though it's considered non-canon by all extents and was merely designed for fans. Fucking subsonic movement with high hypersonic+ combat reaction speed due to Talulah reacting to arrows and projectiles even though Fire emblem has massively hypersonic combat and reaction speed because they also dodged arrows and spells. Arknights is difficult to gauge due to the game literally being a light novel and a tower defense game that is jack shit on speed, (and the anime is a lot worse because it deliberately underpowered rhodes island, but fucking Talulah ain't small city). What the fuck is this logic? Also, Surtr in FEH scales to Tier 2 but somehow Alfonse and Shareena doesn't because they canonically with Kiran fought against him in FEH story mode? Okay.
