Exploration in Star Citizen is INCREDIBLE!

I teamed up with @Olli43 in Star Citizen to explore one of the game’s most impressive locations and fly an incredible spaceship that has an AMAZING feature!

  1. Thank you for your content. Ich bought this game shortly after the kickstarter and have a Freelancer and a Hornet but until yesterday I haven't played the game at all. Simply never had a pc that was good enough. I couldn't even start the hangar module. So for the last years I stopped looking at this game to not hype me too much. Yesterday I walked my first few steps in it with a friend on discord and it took me about an hour to find the hangar and have a look at my ships. It was amazing. The Freelancer wouldn't start but we got the Hornet to launch. I didn't bring it back to the hangar though…. I'll find out what happens with it later today or tomorrow morning. When I see content like this, I just want to take days off work and play this game nonstop. The game looks amazing and I'm happy to see that there are players out there that are just as amazed by this game as I am. Good job on the Videos.

  2. SC missed the EVA experience by a long shot…. The autostabilzing suits are a joke… totally ruin the experience of being in space. At least they could provide a decoupling for all axis of rotation so we can actually float freely without any weird space jam. It's bad enough their decouple doesn't work for the roll in ship, but they should at least provide somewhat of a "space" feel to their space game.

  3. The game is pretty cool. There's a lot of stuff to love here. The environments and the attention to detail is incredible. The ships are super detailed and I really like how they fly. Going out to your ship and taking off from a planet is very immersive. That is…. Until you phase through the wall if your ship and are jettisoned into space, get killed by a bloodthirsty delivery box, land your ship on a planet and have it disappear when you turn around, unexpectedly skydive into a gas giant when your mass transit shuttle disappears underneath you, or just get swalllowed up by the ground from time to time. These types of things happen so frequently that unfortunately I find the game pretty unplayable. It seems like everyday I add a new wacky way to die from a glitch to the list. It does however run a lot better than it used to run and they have made a lot of progress on a some of the core systems. There are the bones of a good game here now. I can almost see myself playing this for a large amount of time if I wasn't interrupted by a game breaking bug every 30 mins

  4. I just wish SC at this level of stability & graphical was accessible to people without a high-end rig. Or at least put it on Steam so I can play it using GeForce Now.

also, the way you enter the Archimedes has to be an homage to how Yeager entered the Bell X1, aka the aircraft he broke the speed of sound in. Watch the original movie version of The Right Stuff if anyone wants to see what I'm talking about.

  5. It was insane to come back to this game not having really touched it since I backed the original crowdfunding campaign during my first year in university.

It's unfinished, it's taken a long fucking time (and will continue to), I'm terrible at flying, and my PC doesn't exactly run like a dream with this thing, but fucking hell. I haven't felt such a sense of wonder about a game in my life. Just fucking around in space is incredible.
