Exaven Desisto, father of Antonio, speaks about the death of his son in a car crash at Bruxton

The tragic deaths of five teenagers involved in a car crash in Buxton has seen their 18-year-old friend appear in court today. Tyrell Edwards was driving when the car crashed into a tree.

He’s been charged with dangerous driving causing death and refused bail. Picton Local Court was told that Edwards’ license had previously been suspended twice for speeding.

The father of teen Antonio Desisto, who was one of the five killed in the crash, remembered his son as being his ‘best friend.’

“Now, I’ve got to visit my son at the f*** morgue…He was my best friend…he never left my side, and we did everything together” – Exaven Desisto, father of Antonio Desisto, speaking to 7NEWS’ Robert Ovadia outside Picton Local Court.
