EX.ZY Dreamscape Simulator

This story is about a robot’s first step on the path of awareness. His first test is dreaming, all of his thoughts are being monitored. Anyway, the robot’s first experience in his life is fear just like a human. And just like a human his first moments of consciousness awareness are presented through dreams. This is what the animation is about, and I might do more soon.

This is a project that I have wanted to work on since I was a child, which is to replicate dreams, so my dream is to make dreams. This was my final UNI project.

I made this on the blender, anyway I hope you subscribe and follow me on Instagram, trippygork.

  1. the bug animation was quite convincing for one animator. Unfortunately I'm not an animator or I'd have more advice and questions. All I can ask is if the robot is trying to move so unnaturally?

It works either way I just think it almost seems too far, I mean it looks like robots from 2012. Not that the animation is bad, I know people are more strict on human animation, so it could be unease. But when you got experimental like with the gears and the fish it worked better than it had any right to with how much happened in five minutes. Yes, the fish and the mushroom looked slightly cartoony and misplaced respectively, but they fit the scene in some twisted way.

The sleep paralysis demon (I think at least, didn't specify which was which in the credits) all I can say is it looked like a scrawny Poozer from DC or a large and incomplete yet over developed in thw head fetus, and it's in the thumbnail, but it had really good lip movements. Surprised equally good lip movements weren't used for the robot dude, y'know, just to flex them.

And finally did you animate that human pin segment, it seriously looked super convincing. Like camera convincing.
