It's sad and ironic that on the one thing the lefties get right, the Palestine/Israel situation, condemning Israel for its genocidal butchery and callous disregard for Palestinian life, the people who so successfully point out the egregious and dishonest behavior of the cancel culture/"woke" left, get completely wrong in a mirrored egregiousness and dishonesty on an incredible scale.
It's also ironic that the is the partner of Bari Weiss, who made cancel culture a thing long before the wokies, when "Bar" went after academics who were sympathetic to the Palestinian cause.

the nytimes that i have read every morning forever is not the nytimes of today (then again what is). it has become little more a life style rag with little to say about anything anyone should take seriously aside from maybe the latest quicheâ recipes. that you expected more from your colleagues was a continuing over-site you should not allow to happen in this brave new world of your future. i think adapting and playing the game and staying in it would have been more beneficial to you and your readers than now being out of the game and on utube. and actually nobody cares about antifa or maga aside from the true believers who never put down their bibles long enough to read a newspaper.
Do you really want a world without The Guardian?
Unfortunaly this is happening around the world. Here in Brazil things are way worse, because left used to be very anti-america, USA always was the imperialistic country, but now the same left is way pro identy politics and also try to be anti-america, a bizarre scenario. Basically our left are importing the whole racial view of USA, in a very, maybe the most mixed race country of the world. This thing get so wierd that journalists are literally doing stories about cultural apropriation during Carnaval, and winter festivals, both festival where peple traditionally can wear all type of costumes. Another case was a traditional festival in the northeastern called Negrume, that people make blackface, even the white ones, to celebrate the mixed ancestry of slaves being called a racist party by journalists and college students! A lot of traditional names, have been changed because of that. As she said, here in Brazil most of the journalists are based on SĂŁo Paulo or Rio, so they're a very americanized view of the word. Even in the texts, journalists more and more uses typical english rules to write, giving a exeample, portugueses is a gendered language, so words have genders, but genders are al so defined by the article, so you don't need to say "female singer" because in portuguese the word "singer" has genders, and the article too. But now a lot of journals stories have been written like english, andthis is weird because to us this sound very bureocratic language.
Probably she still kind of left wing, bur it's very healty to be more doubetd about that, less certain about politics. Political view would be the lesse important thing about a persons. People with strong political views without any really strong reason, always was dangerously paranoic.
I just assume anything the national news is saying the truth is just the opposite. News sources are now promoting pure propaganda.

Freddy, you state that no one acknowledges the crazy behavior that happened. What you should have said is âLiberals donât acknowledge what happened.â People in the center and right leaning saw it for what it was, as it was happening, and we donât misremember it now. She speaks of broken social contracts, as if she discovered something brilliant. Good grief, had she read practically any conservative, at the time, she would have heard it discussed almost daily.
Interesting she thinks Europe is more down the rabbit hole on this… I'd be inclined to disagree. Where the US has an advantage is that free speech is enshrined in law. That said, the progressive activists are way worse there. They still started CHAZ, they still shut down campuses, way more people believe in the race and trans hustle over in the States.

I use the word "thought" very loosely because left wingers don't THINK their way through life. They FEEL their way through, and everyone around them pays a terrible cost for it! Read Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn's Gulag Archipelago and you'll see the obvious similarities between the state run censorship of 20th century Soviet Union and the left wing media today. China had it's own version of this type of thought and speech control and they stacked the bodies up like cordwood as well.

I appreciate 95% of this interview, though I will say, her explanation and seeming defense of the "unhoused" wandering exposed guy (@21:48) in WiSpa is the one part I'd take issue with, if she's bringing to the table, the person's right to be there.. (I'm not sure) More pointedly, someone like this who identifies neither as male or female, has male genitals ,and who has previously been kicked out of another spa for indecent exposure, should absolutely not be allowed in an all female spa, period!
