Cats digestive tracts really, really, really suck at breaking down plant matter. They can do it(for some plants) but they get virtually nothing out of it, and most plants will just make them sick. Additionally your cats need to consume Taurine which is only found in meat and fish otherwise their retinas will begin to break down, eventually leading to blindness.
So yes, to a cat a hotdog is healthier than any amount of vegetables.
As for fat and felines… cats actually have no issues consuming absurd amounts of fat at once thanks to the high amount of Vitamin A that their livers produce… as a fun fact, this high Vitamin A concentration would cause you to become severely ill and possibly die if you ate a cat's liver.
