Ash vs evil dead was canceled because of covid halting production. Not because a decline in views
It sounds like the story of the priests trying to understand and then attemps to contain the book would have been a more interesting story than the exact same thing over again.
Where's the explanation? It's all summary of the films
This dude has come a long way, I first started listening when he was doing the 28 Days Later comics, I wish he had finished the series!!
Great review
You missed some key parts surprisingly pertaining to the new film and almost sounds like you didn’t even pay attention to the new film and how good it is 💀
You can skip this one people.
Characters are perfect they don’t have time to give an autobiography of every damn character no one’s gonna care about the inner lives because it’s a HORROR FILM “character depth” with what time?! You notice character through perception and actions 🤦🏽♂️
The blond nerd could’ve just read it in his head instead of out loud like a child.
It’s always a sad day to see a milf get possessed by a demon 😔
Idk if Nyat has seen the movie ENTER NOWHERE but It would be amazing if he did a video about it, It has some mistery drama time travel shennanigans fix your fate kinda movie and it is actually interesting despite being a straight to dvd 2012 film. It has Scott Eastwood and Sara Paxton in the cast. The cgi is crappy but the premise is cool.
13:14 21st century???
I've gone through drug withdrawal. It looks nothing like this
Because the Necronomicon has existed for centuries, there is PLENTY of room to explore where each of the books have been and traveled. Even Father Marcus could get his own prequel.
I've seen Evil Dead Rise 3 times already. It's bloody fantastic.
The Vinil part got me fucked up.
I’m a fan of the first Evil Dead and the 2013 film.
I couldn’t get with the comedy route the franchise took.
Good thing you can't be possessed in real life by anything.
He slept too long. (Something you missed).
This new version had the funnt moment from the originals with the eyeball being swallowed lol. I thought it was really good, better than than 2013 version cuz I actually felt for the characters.
I have to disagree with your comments on the "Evil Dead Rise" movie. I think it was PHENOMENAL! The performances by everyone was amazing and it was captivating from start to finish. There wasn't one moment where I thought time was wasted in the film. The Deadites were terrifying and it has been YEARS since I've gone to a horror movie where I was actually nervous or unnerved by the actual movie and performance. The 'comedy' was there, but only for the deadites themselves. I mean, you can tell by the way they had their insults goin', where they said some ridiculous things like "I'll fuck your ass with a giant pole" or something stupid along those lines.
I feel so much of this movie was a homage to Evil Dead movies of old while retaining it's own personality and holding it's own as a movie that can stand without the older series. Those that HAVE watched the older series get SOOOOO much things to look at as homages to the old films like the chainsaw, the crazy lines the deadites spew, and hell, the god damn wood chip machine. Not only that, but you also have that blood elevator scene making a homage to another horror movie "The Shining."
This film didn't just throw things in your face saying, "HEY HEY REMEMBER THE OLD EVIL DEAD MOVIE" like the new star wars films did. It respected both the new viewers and old while giving us an entertaining, and damn satisfying Evil Dead movie.
Bruce Campell also was one of the producers for the film and it really shows! You can tell he had a hand in this movie. Heh. Or not. Maybe a chainsaw.
Lol… And Jordan Peterson
It was extremely disappointing with a massive plot hole
👍
I like that evil dead comics they were in a multiverse and wished all three of these were in different universes.but seeing the cabin in the original and 2013 shot my little dreams down…
I loved the movie and i love that they didn’t go for the comedic aspect . Im loving this change actually
I love the darker tone of the new films.
i feel like u were being too nit picky with rise cuz it’s really good movie and everything an evil dead movie should have
Congrats this being video 666
