  1. Like so many others, I was crushed by how expensive they made this event. My buddies and I talked about going when it was announced, but when pricing was released we immediately gave up

  2. Man I wasn't very optimistic about this race bacause the track doesn't look particularly great ( I guess there are 1 or 2 overtaking spots)
But everything F1 does about it feels so backwards, like they are spending all this money to make more F1 in the US, while also making sure no one in LV can see it unless they are f-ing rich, racing in the most horrible time for anyone in the Americas to see it and also repeatedly negating Andretti, and American teams to get into the sport

  3. Americans are aware of F1 because of DTS but it has not created a fan base outside of the show. Americans also don’t like “boring” sports and most Americans I know have said a variation “well isn’t max verstappen winning everything? Why would you want to watch?” My husband and I decided not to go to this race because if the insane prices for a race we had no idea what the experience would be like.

  4. We've had city races in places with well developed, or at least passable traffic infrastructure up until Vegas.
For the murrican readers: That means reduction of car reliance, public transport, bike friendliness, and so on.
I wonder what will prove to be the Achilles heel for Las Vegas…

  5. I've spent a lot of time in Vegas. Don't feel too sorry for the "Strip" its a bunch of casinos. Yeah. It sucks that you can't see the fountain show at the Bellagio. It was the resurfacing that really caused the headaches. That's done obviously. Good for many years. My worry! That its a debacle. 10 red flags or who knows. I can't wait. We'll see! 😂🎉

  6. I do think people who are hateful towards this race probably have never and won’t even watch the race some of the criticisms is absolutely valid but Vegas has a lot of sports i an American already love f1 those people complain about everything for a raider game yet they most likely aren’t fans of the team I would have loved to go to the Vegas Grand Prix this would be an experience of a lifetime

  7. it is all about the money. they dont care about racing. other circuits are forced to make safety adjustments and here we are racing in way to cold weather with no safety . where would be grip on a new tarmac with to cold temp outside. this is asking for excidents. but he you get entertainment, and thst is what count in the end.

  8. Imagine everyone being wrong, and with all different strategies, some drivers risking a lot – mainly the ones with less to lose – and this ends up being the best race of the season

  9. Most Americans have no interest in Vegas, go there once and it should be your last time. Expensive, does not deliver, all fake, food sucks, unless you have thousands for dinners.

  10. I was in Vegas last weekend for a wedding and while i won't call it a disaster, it's pretty disruptive. Trees taken down in front of the Bellagio, you can only see the fountains from the casino side, and every Uber driver i talked to said it was crazy. Walking the strip was impeded by lots of construction. All that being said, I'm excited about watching the race on TV. It should be beautiful – i was up in the "high roller" and could see the track rolling around the newly built "sphere," and it got me a bit excited. I do feel they did a disservice to the city and workers there. Tourists will learn to avoid the weeks leading up to the race in the future.

  11. I would be so disappointed, if there will be no chaos now, and also if there is no fighting for the lead. I don't mind ver winning again but I want fighting! I want bloody racing for the 1st. It would be amazing if norris could get his first win here.

  12. 10:08 just go to Hungary. Well we did this year and tho the track might not be the most exciting track out there, everything else was sublime. The whole weekend is and was about racing and Budapest is an amazing city. I highly recommend to visit the Hungarian grand prix.

  13. I have to say your guys take on the construction is pretty hilariously out of touch. Tell me when vegas hasent had crazy construction going on for the past 3 decades. This type of stuff is the reason why vegas didnt completely collapse. Theyve been redifining what vegas is since the 90's and it has saved them from collapsing. Youre completely missing just how incredible what theyve done in such a short period of time is. They are building a race track and all the infrastructure to support it and have done it in an incredibly short time. Its amazing
