As a Security Studies major and former military regular, I break down everything wrong with Third Rail, a Singaporean drama revolving around a train hijack. Maybe they should have hired me as an advisor 😂

Ah thanks for the heads-up, luckily I watched this before watching the actual thing. It actually seems worse than the generic American zombie film involving generals sending 400 infantrymen into an obviously dangerous zone. I really thought our film industry was better 🤦♂️
Good that this kind of BS is only in Mediaco(ck)rp and not in SPF
If you are a security studies major and a ex regular you should know something called OPSEC….. its just a show man…
Good points but I have some disagreements.
Side of tunnel can be dangerous because of ricochets. Standard safety is to stay away from walls. Advancing in a narrow line compromises firepower because only the first guy can shoot. Choose depending on the situation.
Jammers work in specific frequencies. Cell phones have a dedicated band of frequencies.
Silenced sniper is not practical unless for low power round like .22LR which few police or army units use for sniping. Standard rifle round or even 9mm pistol round will still be very loud even if subsonic ammunition is used with a suppressor.
Helmet flashlight is useful in some situations. Problem with rifle flashlight is you are always pointing your gun at anything you illuminate. Accidents happen. Choose depending on the situation.
I saw the Chinese Opera mask like Resident Evil 6. I knew this show is going to be dip-shit.
Excellent, and well done on the breakdown! Keep at it!
wait theres something known as silent snipers? I tot indoors even silenced guns are like 110-120 decibels?
Why I watch HK police dramas instead:
No but seriously, an amateur could have done this with 10% less budget with comparable quality.
Goddamn what the hell is Medicorp doing? I was considering joining the SPF but after seeing this drama I think I rather join the hijackers…
But seriously though if they were able to make a good film about such an operation that would actually be amazing
Mediacorp should hire you as adviser lol
One more thing : You dont "call off" , you "stand-down"
I like your video
Why the Commissioner got ang moh accent one?
I watch till 3 or 4 epi cannot take it when the cgi is so fake🤣 explosion all
They made Special Forces in SG feel and look stupid and not professional… this is disappointing…😮💨 I always admire our SOTF since their Singapore Airlines Flight 117 hijack incident as they rescued all civilians and have zero casualties. 😥 It really shows how MediaCorp doesn't care about important details and they should consult military experts to make a more realistic show.
Part 2 pls!
Bruh the Transcom officers beret like not even seasoned at all sia
Japanese suicide mission in world war 2 is like this t no tactical procedure
terrorist abit too kind also lah
Eh make part two leh
Bruh Operation Nimrod did only one attempt and one hostage died
but Third rail of them died lol
If I meet my escort at hotel 81, then I can’t be in the train. And she can’t bump into her son and his friends. 😝😝😝 please make pt 2. We enjoyed this so much.
