In regards to the power at Bill's compound, perhaps he made a grid out of the other houses using solar panels, generators, etc that allow it to run near autonomously.

Episode 3 deserves 50 sins immediately.
Something I noticed was that Riley mentioned she had already played the arcade machines before multiple times. Which means she had the mall powered multiple times and she wouldve tested things like the halloween store and the carousel and etc. So why did the infected only wake up when she brought Ellie there and not the other times she powered things up.
And a second thing I have a question for, after the horde of infected kill everyone you can see them running off towards the rest of the city, why dont any of them chase after ellie, sam and henry? You'd of thought at least one would've heard them and followed them. Instead the all just happily go off in the other direction.
I hate how everyone is afraid to say what we’re all thinking. This show started off good but after Episode 4, it got super boring. I’m one of the biggest fans of the games, but it became tough to watch because nothing exciting would ever happen. I already know the story up and down, so watching cutscenes I’ve seen 3 times already, got really boring. 🙁

The fact that it infected people through flour products (baked goods) is a sin. Fungi that evolved to survive in our bodies would not be able to live through an oven lol spores worked better. Lady baking should have been infected from messing with flour rather than grandmother being infected first.

Marlene keeping Joel alive, even after refusing him to see Ellie, after seeing his outburst and demeanor with a potential cure at risk. Given Joel's reputation and knowing "what Joel's capable of"
Marlene not taking the shot when she had the jump on him, despite giving an order for him to be shot and to keep him away from Ellie.
Marlene not keeping her promise of supplies/truck to Joel and forcing him out, creating unneeded tension/risk.

This guy doesnt understand how clickers work in the game lol. The sneaking and using the shiv to the neck is one way to kill on. Attacking the face or head doesnt work because of the shrooms protecting that area

I knew the show wouldn't be botched. Oscar worthy performances in every episode.
It was borderline neck. It was the upmost portion of her shoulder so I think the turn time at around that spot could be around two hours.
Bill compound could have been attack more than the one time we saw but the writers didn't show us it.

48:12 you can kindaaaaa argue that Clickers have somewhat of an armored head, and since Ellie could’ve stabbed the neck where the spinal cord would be (now mycelia). Imo it would sever the connection of the mycelia just like the spinal cord would, if you were to get stabbed there, resulting in killing or immobilizing the clicker.

I gotta admit, the scenes with the mycologist had me super excited about the whole humanity is doom situation and I was 100 team Joel about not risking and killing the only testable inmune person to put her brain in a jar. It would make a lot more sense to keep her alive and run several tests and even try to recreate what made her special. Besides that, I guess we all wished the writers hadn't substitute the drama>infected crisis/battle>drama resolution for drama>conversation/talk it thru>resolution without infected or horror, as it made the story in the game more towards survival horror whereas in the tv show it was more drama danger horror sometimes…but overall Pascal and Bella acting were superb and made me fell in love at the very end with their father new daughter relationship to then made me feel awful when we all know what will come so I guess that is what the writers and producers wanted, can't wait two years for the next season 🍄

For episode 3 i do think Bill was being stupid to go out into the street but not for drama for the show but because he loved Frank and was trying to draw the gunfire away from the house to keep him safe. As it does show when Frank is heading to get his gun some shots go thrpugh the house so i think Bill was shooting from cover, saw them hitting the house and decided to draw the fire away to protect Frank. Dumb but for love
