  1. Not sure how I feel about this game. It looked nice and there were a few decent jumpscares but I couldn't warm to it. I stuck it out till the end but I don't think the payoff was there for me.

  2. compared to all the 616 games this is an absolute masterpiece. unsatisfying? please, its clear that it took more than a monkey to create, which is better than 90% of games on the channel sadly. and chimps could make a better game than this one, but who is counting eh? i enjoyed it bud, thanks!

  3. Think maybe game would benefit from some sort of limit on your focus ability, like you have a certain amount you can use, either by times used, or with some sort of energy bar that drains if/when use it, cause it's basically a cheat built right in to, and part of the actual game, which is kind of weak to me but otherwise pretty cool game

  4. I held off in commenting in the previous part, since I had my reservations. Now that we've reached the ending, I still say that there were some parts that I did find interesting (such as the utilized mechanic when it comes to dealing with the threat at 28:35) and there were some jumpscares that were effective….. but story-wise, it had lost its momentum. The same concern that I had back from the demo. It felt as if there were a lot of good ideas that were thrown in the pot to make it look cool, but that's all there is. On top of that, the main character was restricted within the script (meaning, he can only go to places where the game wants him to go). He was able to use a fire extinguisher to break a glass door on that one floor, but he can't grab it again to use it on the other glass door that he couldn't access on the lower floor? I may be in the smallest minority by saying all these things, but hey, if everybody else completely liked this, good for them.

  5. Wow, another two parter game like Oxide Room 104. The premise is interesting but unfortunately it is not fleshed out enough because the game left out many different possibilities with the story.

  6. Huh, that ending was indeed a letdown. We're not even entirely sure if we succeeded or not; given Dan's whole "It's already too late" spiel at the beginning would imply we didn't but there's no real evidence in the ending to say so.

Another thing: how exactly does SynOS access Dan's mind? Is he hooked up to the hibernation chamber the whole time? Does he have some kind of implant? Who knows! So many unanswered questions. On the plus side though the visuals were amazing and I loved the sense of humor with the smashing the glass door and all. A fun ride to watch for sure though. Thanks to CJU for showing it to us!

  7. It feels like some stuff got cut near the end there. It was good until it wasn't anything, just felt rushed.

From what I understand, was Daniel a metasapien? Those two portraits of him at the ending, one of him as normal and the other a scarred, inhuman looking thing. Kind of like the first introduction of the girl that was "made for him" as I recall the AI saying (normal girl in dress to feral violent naked creature). Maybe that's why she wanted him to go away so badly, he needed to. Not only would he be carrying her project, him, out into the world but maybe even the AI itself if it indeed was in his watch. It could be most of the game did happen in his head as at the very end we woke in the room near where the metasapien first attacked Daniel. The red room. Also, just how would the OS even get into Daniel's mind if he was completely human? I guess there could be the usual sci-fi tech hand wave BS but I don't know.

Just stream of consciousness. It was fun, I just wish there was more.

  8. I agree with your conclusion Chris : on the positive side, we got amazing visuals, and the fact that the game keeps things exciting, I never really knew what to expect. Regarding the negatives, the game is a bit on the short side, and the ending is unsatisfying : did Daniel really manage to stop the AI's plan? I was expecting a last minute twist, tbh. Things that the dev should address : Daniel's voice audio level being weirdly low in some instances in the second half of the game, and some of the dialogue is a bit awkward. For a game that polished, it would have been a good idea to get a reread from a native English speaker before recording the dialogues (the voice acting was pretty decent btw). I'd be curious to see what the dev cooks up next, there were a lot of really good ideas in this one!

  9. I definitely know how you feel this game is a decent game but it didn't tell it's story to the fullest . I feel like this game could have been so much better I mean the scientist hinted that he wasn't able to stop what was started . I would have like to see a future were the meta humans controlled man . Anywho decent game could have been better in it's execution thanks for sharing .

  10. Somehow I feel like there is going to be more to this, either a Everything is for humanity 2 or something like that. I hope so, I’m intrigued to see what would have happened next and all

  11. CJU: "I shouldn't have hit that button. I definitely shouldn't have hit that button."
Me: Chris, you are like a magpie is with shiny objects when it comes to buttons and levers. You can't NOT hit or pull them.
I have to agree the ending was abrupt and unsatisfying. There could easily have been another 30+ minutes of this, if only to capture the metasapien. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if daniel actually survives, even though Jeffrey tells him to get in the car. Pity, because it was fun, and looked great, but that was not the ending it needed or deserved. Thanks for playing, Chris; always a pleasure to watch.

  12. Really nice Indie Horror Game…. Here's my personal Rating , altho i gotta say it does look impressive but it does have Cons for sure and i'll explain them.

The Story is really good 8/10.

Jumpscares is the Highlight of this Game 10/10. ( Altho this kinda Jumpscares are pretty Sharp and Sudden , which could cause problems for people who got Epaliptic problems ).

Graphics & Visuals are pretty well made 8.5/10.

    Gameplay and Mechanics…. Solid 7/10.

Sadly tho the Gametime is just short for how good the Story and Graphics are…. For Gametime 4/10.

And the Ending is pretty rushed unfortunately 3/10. Otherwise the Gameplay , Jumpscares , Premise were pretty awsome…. Would've been much better if it took longer as for the Ending it doesn't really matter for Indie Games that much lol 😅

  13. The game started very promising but ended suddenly and disappointing. Also, somebody did not do appropriate research into chemistry. It is not hard to find that the chemicals used in the game do not work like that. They are both depicted to be liquids. This is utter bullshit. NH4NO3 (ammonium nitrate) is a industrial fertilizer and component of explosives. It is a salt and thus a solid. It easily dissolves in water, but then it should be written as NH4+ + NO3- to indicate it is a aqueous solution. At temperatures at around 300°C it decomposes to N2O and water. N2O (nitrous oxide) is a gas at room temperature. It does not react with a salt. The dev didn't need to read a chemistry book. The information provided by wikipedia is more than enough to see that NH4NO3 + N2O does not work and create a liquid that can be placed in a syringe. Sheesh!

  14. I agree, it was a letdown given what an interesting premise and world it had. Bummer, I was so excited when I saw this game came out. Could have been so much more, maybe they'll release a sequel one day?

  15. Like many, I feel like this could have gone for another four videos and ended a lot better. Too abrupt and unsatisfying at the end. Thanks for playing it!

  16. I thought the painting of the main character shifting to being distorted represented that you were playing as a meta-human, either all along or (in my opinion more likely) replaced with one containing the character's memories halfway through. It just makes me want to play SOMA again.

  17. Interesting, bit it underdelivered

My theory, near the end, was that your character is also an android. There was no thread about brain implants so I think that AI messing with your head is it connecting with your android brain.

  18. Hmmm, aside from the visuals, which are gorgeous in their own right, a lot of the "interesting" parts of the game seem suspiciously similar to Outlast 1 and the Outlast DLC. From the underground laboratory with the "cleansing" hallways, to the chase sequences, the literal naked "Twins" chasing you, and even that ending with Daniel's vision blurring in and out of focus on the ground. Hmmm…
