  1. From reading the comments, I assume I'm the only person in the world who just didn't get anything from this. It was interesting for the first little bit, but then really started to go all over the place and drag on and on.

  2. Hi guys, great reaction as always! I have some insight on the hot dog universe: My take is this movie is meant to hit entire spectrum of "feels" including disgust & anger, the absurdity of the hot dog universe covers that!… so in a sense, its part of the everything… This it truly a masterpiece in film making, and I'm glad you guys acknowledge that, keep up the amazing content! – big fan from Cali

  3. we definitely missed out on decades of Ke Quan's phenomenal acting. he actually gave up on acting because he literally wasn't getting any roles so he resigned himself to doing behind the scenes work in films, because he thought that was all he was good for. it wasn't until Crazy Rich Asians came out that he changed his tune. he went to see it twice in the theater and with tears in his eyes after his second viewing, called up an agent friend of his and began auditioning again. Everything Everywhere All At Once is the first film he got after he decided to act again and I'm so glad he did. this is why representation is so important in media. so glad you guys enjoyed the film! ❤

  4. I loveeeee this movies. It’s easily in my top 5. You have to watch it at least twice. You pick up details every time that makes you love it even more. And I disagree with you all, I loved the hotdog finger world lol

  5. Okay. I dont wanna seem like a hater. I like to subscribe to people with similar interests.
However, you "bros" seemed at first to be the type that would have "Harbor Freight", and "Ace Hardwares" tattooed across your foreheads.
In the opening, I hated this reaction from your dual. It was pretentious, nonsensical, and above it all blowhard.
I'm so glad I stuck with you. Liked. Subscribed. And honestly, think you should watch the insanity coming next year for insane film ideals

  6. I would appreciate it if you guys could react to John Q. with Denzel Washington (if you haven't already). It's a movie everyone should see at least once in their lives.
Like this comment so they see it!!!

  7. I love this movie! Saw it in a theatre the last week it was available. Laughed and cried throughout. Got home, consumed a ton of YouTube videos about it, then bought it when it was released on streaming. An introspective move that I plan to revisit multiple times in my life.

  8. My girlfriend and I went and saw this with no background info and she isn’t into films the way I am but bro I went from crying uncontrollably to laughing more times than I can count. Probably my favorite movie of all time

  9. This is, by far, my pic for best picture of the year. When I saw it the second time I realized how much I missed. I was so confused when I saw James Hong. I thought he was old in "Big Trouble in Little China" and in the ancient first Blade Runner(The Eye guy). How can he even be around? 90 I think! Then there is Michelle Yeoh. Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon and Crazy Rich Asians. Some of the alternative life scenes were from her real historical red carpet appearances. The story of Ke Huy Quan's acting comeback is a great read.

  10. Keep in mind this is one of the lowest budget movies made with this much success in like three generations. This cost 25 million to make, and for reference, that is less than Flipper cost in 1996 dollars. Truly on amazing experience to watch. I'm so glad the OctoKrool gang got to experience this masterpiece.. I hope other directors take a hint, and this film wins every award possible.

  11. I literally pulled people into the cinema to see this. It was a wonder to see almost the entire cinema (admittedly not packed in these post-covid times) break down during the stone sequence (a much needed respite for the audience to allow them to finally feel. It really is a masterclass of film-making with a very talented ensemble (Ke Huy Quan gets most of the attention but that is mainly because he gets pushed front and centre by the script; Stephanie Tsu and Michelle Yeoh are superb. And a special mention to Jamie Lee Curtis for declaring "I am not going to be in a movie with Michelle bloody Yeoh and not do as many of the bloody action scenes as I can myself." You have already mentioned the incredible martial arts choreography thanks to theBrian abnd Andy Le. And the special effects were done on a home computer!

To my mind the only potential competition for this year's film awards (and EEAAO already won the Gotham award) is RRR, although both face a massive uphill battle for the more conventional awards given the Academy's resistance to genre and foreign films ("we already give them their own special awards, what more do they want").

  13. The only other movie this year that comes close in my mind is RRR, but they are very different movies. And yet they have some real similarities, from the over-the-top action choreography to the super-wholesome depiction of masculinity. RRR was the most fun I’ve had in a movie theater in years, but EEAAO is my movie of the decade, no contest.

  14. No movie has come close to how well this movie captures what it's like to live in a world where we have information comin at us all the time from every direction… or the feeling of existential depression.
Also, Waymond and "this is how I fight" is such a perfect model for healthy masculinity.

  15. I love how much you appreciated Waymond from the beginning. Most reactions I've seen view him as weak and boring until the end. He's the only character without an arc, he's just fine from the start. (Also, culturally speaking 'You're fat' while trying to feed you is a very, very Asian mom way of saying I love you.)
