  2. Great lesson on how not to build a fourbie, too much weight, too much power, too much stress on all your components. You’ve all got way too much weight in the rear for a start. Those canopies are money burning anchors. Take note kids.

  4. Once again, just taking the hardest way possible and then crying about breaking stuff, with the actual track showing in the background. WTF.
just show us everything, this is way most people drive this but we're going to try this track.
Sensational opportunity for views, not reality.. thought experiment, your hung up, bustled steering tie rod it's life and death out here. Mean while a Honda civic just idle"s past on the actual track that any reasonably prepared 4wd could handle. Tell the truth, your taking the worst line for the adventure and let people know that they can get there see the sights with 50k of mods. Been there, done all the hard stuff for fun like your doing, but didn't try to say you couldn't get a stock seira through just going around some stuff. I live on the Cape, not many places I haven't been.
Also used to have the best 4wd ever made, 96 live front axel single cab Hilux, with custom suspension.

  5. Lived on the Cape since the 80's. Done most of the tracks multiple times, never broken a cv. When are you guy's going to learn?
Diff locks are a bad thing on hard ground and even worse with the big trucks. If you have a modem 4wd just let traction control take care of it. My 200gy with crawl control would blow your minds. It would be a whole different experience for you if you used the technology your cars actually come with, no breaking stuff, just get there and no loss of the adventure.,take the hard line and let the truck decide how to get you up there. Even my old lux, driven stuff that was supposed to be impossible without lockers never broke anything including the Maytown to Laura track.
Every body I know with diff locks, breaks their rigs , they are not for high traction terrain.
If you have the older traction control then just trust it, the newer version has power limits so read your rigs manual and turn the limiter off, it's been tested by the manufacturers as better than lockers and you will almost never break stuff due to not exceeding the stress limits of your gear.
    Give it go people.
