interesting, personally i just spawned like 2 wither and looted the city while the warden and wither were fighting then took my nether stars and left
I just went into my first ancient city today, completely blind on what I should do to disarm anything, or what to do if a warden shows up. I kinda just stumbled upon it too, by following a cave. I accidentally spawned one warden, and I couldn’t find him because I didn’t have any night vision positions on me. I tried sneaking up a staircase of wool I made because I knew wool helped with sound, he followed behind me and sniffed right on top of me. I had a full on panic attack I used my water bucket to slow him down, I put on my elytra and started flying blind in a cave without echo location. I was chased out of the ancient city by Idk how many wardens. There was so many sounds roars and screeching my heart was pounding so fucking bad because I had a lot of loot on me. I survived, though I might’ve crawled into the corner of my room into the fetal position once the heartbeats ingame stopped jumping my brain.
In java if you pause exit and reload into the world the wardens sonic beam attack thing will be reset i used this to slowly block by block build back up to the exit. Edit: use the sound effects to determine how close the attack to full charge

How to fight a warden:
Step 1: run away
Warden: trapdoor UwU
he sniped me with his deathray like 50 blocks away on bedrock
Raided one yesterday, found out it’s not that hard as I thought
If u ever spawn one warden, run about 10 blocks away then sneak about another 10blocks to get away. If u get far enough, it won’t detect you. Just don’t panic and run like a maniac. After about 1min, it will dig back down again and u are free to roam

Its it just as efficient to use carpet instead of wool blocks? Im gonna try an find an ancient city in my server here soon but unsure which one to bring. Carpet or wool? Or both?

thanks for letting me know about the devices. I can rain these structure very easily and only die 1 or 2 times. I destroy every shrieker I see. anyway. Next time I raid an ancient city I am gonna dig the warden into the grown and try to place 4 of these devises in each corner just to mess with it. I think it will be funny
I’m achievement hunting so I think I have to kill the warden, thanks for the tips
and i don't want to raid an ancient city or go on survival mode instead i would prefer exploring a ancient city in creative mod
I tried raiding an ancient city.. I died multiple times, lost everything. I set up some distraction devices explained in this video but once the warden has sensed you, they will ignore the device. I came back with an army of iron golems (35-40) but they also perished over time. I set up spawn & some chests to make trips inside & to the edge. I made a portal inside the city for easier access. I still lost a lot of stuff. I was enraged. Now I fully accept the fact that the Warden is not a mob you mess with, and only with an iron hoe, iron pickaxe and wool blocks, I'm slowly taking over the city.. destroying every shrieker & sensor I see, running away if the warden spawns. I am almost there. I've got almost every shrieker and sensor. I will light this place up when I'm done, I will cover every lava pool, I will build a base here and make a fucking pixel art of this blue animal when i'm done & say goodbye to it forever. I learnt a lot of things from this raid and will use it to raid the next city effectively!
note: unless you're an elytra god & also able to memorize all the space & structures around you, just keep the elytra in a safe chest! this is no place for elytra. running away works way better!
I mean what else is there peaceful mode that's how you raid it lol thats what I do I see no reason for it to be in my game as it dose nothing just something to look at thb
