  1. I still watch sam chapman! I also watch tanya burr now shes back! The hourglass vanish stick is lovely, i bought the vieve ninetease pallette as i am very cool toned but i find it irritates my eyes, its so hard to get a true cool toned pallette, i like the bare minerals mascara and the l'oreal one flip i cant remember the name, its in a dull gold tube xx

  2. Really liked the chat re meeting new people, new situations etc. I'm in a long term relationship ( almost 8yrs) but am trying to find ways to still do this despite having a partner. Finding more independence without guilt! Loving your xmas vlogs ❤

  3. such a cosy sit down video, Jess!
i am still watching Zoe and I was so freaking pleased to see, that Tanya came back to YouTube, those were the first YouTubers, that I started watching in English about 10 years ago.

p.s. my all time favourite mascara is the classical drug store one — Maybelline Lash Sensational 🙂

  4. Jess!! I love your videos as you have been giving me so many good and realistic recommendations on what to do in London (I actually recently went to the www book club and it was great); I also love Chelsea’s videos as I can relate to her, as we are both single in our 30s, living in a big city and try to defeat loneliness by making solo experiences. I think you both actually helped me come out of my shell and it is refreshing seeing two very down to earth people I can actually relate to ❤ and you also love Rosslyn coffee so you get bonus points for that 😂 thank you!!!

  5. If I could recommend something for your hair: I‘d go a little shorter again and get put in a lot of highlights in a very similiar colour to your natural haircolour. In my experience that looks so pretty with a bob, very natural and full of movement. All over box dye always looked like helmet on me 😬😘

  6. Lovely video Jess, as always ❤ For mascara I love Lancôme Monsieur Big, keeps the curl for me, gives me very black eyelashes and is the perfect ration of lenght and volume that lasts all day. As for videos, I love all videos from you tbh but would love to see the other makeup video you mentioned, more what I eat in a day, more regular days and fashion bits that you enjoy ❤

  7. Hi Jess! You make absolutely lovely videos! So pretty, natural, interesting and normal in best possible way! 😊 As for gray hair, I recently started having it too and now I think grays could be cool, I'll see how long this enthusiasm lasts…😅 Anyway, I think you lovely with or without gray hair! 😊

  8. I still need to check out that Clarins mascara, I’m using the Nars Light Reflecting at the moment and I love it but I also love options. You made me laugh when you said that the eyeshadow palette is all you need, I’ve got such an insane stash and I wear eyeshadow maybe twice a month. I commented on another thread about the YSL Lash Clash mascara, it’s by far my fave. I was using the Benefit They’re Real just recently and although I had liked it at one point, I hated it this time around. It smudged, transferred above my eye. Total fail. I’m back on the YSL now but the Maybelline Sky High is really good for a cheaper option. I’ve had the GHD Curve on my radar for a while, my hair is a similar length to yours now and it feels like that might be a smart investment. I would love to see a what’s in my bag – I’m old school, I love those videos! x

  9. Great vlog today. Please do not use box dyes, I did in my 30's and now I go to the salon and have my roots touched up and colour so much softer and the box dyes just striped my hair and made me look awful. Personal choice I know however I would never go near a box of dye again.

  10. Thanks so much for making this video!! You are beautiful without makeup, but you make the most stunning makeup looks for brunettes. I also love that our eye shapes are somewhat similar. I also watch Chelsea for the single city girl vibes. Though m,y bestie and I have both been married with children for 17 years now, the times when we both lived alone in our apartments and owned the city and the world (backpacking) are lovely sources of nostalgia (the 90's were a banging good time 😂).I watch Chelsea for this reason, and am also a runner. About your exhaustion: In the Netherlands, you get time off work if you move house. Give yourself a break: you've had a major life change (even is solidly positive), you work fulltime and do Vlogmas!! You are gold!! And yes for night out GRWM, your style really resonates with me. (Funnily enough though, at 55 I would consider myself too young to buy clothes at M&S LOLOL. )

  11. My current favorite mascara is the Hourglass Unlocked. I also like the Lancome Lash Idole. I recommend using a primer under your mascara too for extra length and volume. Lancome or Dior have good ones.
