I’m shocked that Michigan had that many tornadoes.
This was the most thorough state-by-state run down on tornadoes that I have ever seen. Fantastic video! Great job!
The dad of the wife my uncle is married with died in a tornado 🌪 in 2012. He lived in Oklahoma. But he was not the only one in his town. And her mother in Mississippi survived the 40-50 tornadoes she had experienced. Her brother in Oklahoma didn’t experienced many tornadoes cuz he lives in the west of Oklahoma. I’m actually a bit confused by Wisconsin, Illinois and Minnesota.. that many amounts of tornadoes. Didn’t expect that😅
This was a fun video. Was always fascinated by tornadoes and this was a great video to compile alot of tornado history.
Las Vegas, NV experienced a land spout near the M resort just a week ago!
can’t believe you didn’t talk about liquid state
I'm still waiting for the next ef5 tornado
Worcester = Wuss-Stir, or Wiss-Turr
Think of "Worcestershire Sauce", take out the "Shire", there ya'; go.
I just moved from NY and it’s wild to see the increase in tornadoes over the years. There was a “freak” tornado back in 2007, but now we’ve been getting at least 1 each summer for the past 5-10 years, the thunderstorms get more severe every year and it’s been bringing tornadoes with them 😬
i'm from Ohio and i'm extremely interested in tornadoes.. only when theres a tornado watch or warning where i live, i immediately have a panic attack LOL
i couldn't imagine living in tornado alley
I can't tell if I should be upset my state didn't make the top 10 or happy 😅
I did not expect Wisconsin to be so high
I'm glad you love Utah. I've lived here my entire life and it's a great state. I'm glad it's not a great tornado state lol.
Let’s Goooooooo! We’re finally the best at something!
nah put florida way lower, bc we dont rlly get anything significant
Great video, 1&2 are tough to choose. I would have went with Kansas but its all opinion.
Puting Alabama the State I'm from at A makes sense since we get a lot of tornadoes in spring and fall. But it's kinda hard if of what tier of the city. I'm from Montgomery but maybe other cities in Alabama probably get more or less tornadoes then Montgomery
Yay my state is in S tier
in iowa we had a tornado on the 15 of december
i'm surprised as a Minnesotan that we got put pretty high. I didn't know we got EF5's. I only know one Tornado from St. Peters, Minnesota which happened in 1998. It was an EF4 my mom survived it.
Speaking of Oklahoma, from where in live in the southern OKC metro, from 2010 through 2013, we had SIX EF4-EF5 tornadoes within 10 miles of my location . That does not include the record 2.6 mile wide El Reno twister less than 30 miles away, either. Nerve wracking springs for certain. 2012 was a "down" year in that period, but a high end EF1 missed me by less than a city block.
Your content is amazing..so out of the box with anything else on here..I've been in 2 here in Tennessee..in one we almost drown in the basement..the Cookeville Tornado was really close to me..that was a bad one..the jarrel Texas tornado is the one that gives me chills..Joplin and tuscaloose will always stick with me too
I’m from Oklahoma and I’ve not only drove into an F0 by accident because the weather channels were focused on that huge El Reno tornado(was daylight until I crossed under the bridge and there it was out of nowhere lol, first time I’ve seen sideways spiraling rain), but also in my lifetime here I’ve had the big El Reno tornado chase me just days after the big Moore tornado destroyed my house, when I was a kid my family and I were at a church near Wiley Post when a big F4 jumper was coming right at us, thankfully it lifted before coming down again on the other side of us. I stood outside to look at it basically until I was drug back in 😂 but it was awesome looking, looked like it was a mile or 2 away and it was dark out but when the power flashes happened you could see the beast and it was BIG! I remember having to lean forward pretty far so I didn’t fall backwards because the wind was so strong.
I also had a couple come close but not where I could see, and I vaguely remember helping clean up after May 3rd and seeing things like a car wrapped into a ball around a tree basically, and a spoon(plastic one if I remember right) shoved into a tree still intact.
The 2013 May tornado had some crazy damage too. The house across the street had a whole tree thrown onto it and was basically just a pile of bricks, their neighbors to the north had a long piece of wood shoved cleanly through the corner of the house(in the front wall, through a room, and out the side wall) it was like it was built that way, no breaking or splintering or anything. 2 houses south of us there was nothing but slabs, it ripped off my cellar door, and my bedroom the roof was gone and my bed flipped up against the wall, it also shifted the house upstairs portion. We found a thermos with coffee in it someone made that morning, no idea where it came from other than through the window, but the coffee was still hot.
I love tornadoes, they aren’t good but they sure are awesome to watch.
WOW 3K IN 7 DAYS
I live in PA. A small tornado came super close to where I live. Light damage to a lot of trees and whatnot. One building was destroyed and it was the only trailer home for miles hahahahaha
im from florida and the last tornado i remember was in 2015 and i HATED IT it killed my favorite tree, i had memories in that tree and that tornado killed it
we don't normally get tornados in ocala because of the forest (literally right in front of my house lol) i mean more of like the tornados touch, move, die in a matter of seconds
because of the trees, i am so thankful to live surrounded by trees, all i deal with is thunderstorms and the hurricanes that already passed through land
the tornado is 100% real, i remember it fully yet going onto the website you are on, it doesn't show it, i even put 2016 cus i remember being in 5th grade when it occured
I never would have thought that NORTH Carolina
Had that many tornadoes'
I live in north Alabama and I'll never forget the 2011 super outbreak.
The entire north of the state is powered by the Oak Ridge nuclear facility and one tornado severed the main power cable so the entire region north of Birmingham was without power for days!
The town of Harvest was hammered by a tornado that threw a 60 ton coal car over 100 feet in the air!
It was a nightmare!
14:33 Hold on… is that an outline of SD with pennsylvania written on it??? 😭
I'm from Iowa, and I've been through soooooooo many tornadoes over the years. I even recognized the path of one of the ones on this map, as it literally made a skipping jump over my house when it was first forming (I live in a valley. The northeast is very hilly) and then went on to rampage through several nearby towns.
14:33 you just put South Dakota
Pennsylvania having a South Dakota outline 💀
I’m from northern Maine and I remember just once in my life when I was young we had a tornado warning and one came through the city but it was a small one. Was surreal just sitting in the basement.
That all being said we do get some crazy windstorms you here. In 2018 while I was in college we had a massive windstorm that swept the state destroyed trees, the power grid (like the entire eastern, central and southern part of the state had no power for over a week) destroyed a lot of stuff in the UMO campus. It was wild. I remember walking back to my dorm and being pushed over from the wind gusts.
When he said “everyone loves their own state” that made every Illinois resident grunt 🙁
Ayy Oklahoma!! We’re the S tier together! 🎉🎉
I know this is kinda off topic, but is there any reason why the Pennsylvania sticker is shaped like South Dakota? It's kinda sticking out. :
