No way you put Water Park over Rome Avanti
Thwomp ruins over Rosalina's Ice World 💀
Athens Dash is way too low. How could you put Mario Circuit above it? 💀
Bangkok Rush is too low, and you reslly put Ice Ice Outpost above it 💀
It feels like I’m one of the only people who loves Sky-High Sundae. Not only is it a beautiful course, but the constant tricks and jumps make it feel almost exhilarating. I straight up called it “delightful” after my first run of it.
If the clock in Squeaky Clean Sprint could show the actual time of your Nintendo Switch system, that would be pretty cool.
N64 RR is a top10 track
u put SNES RR over N64 RR – bruhhhhh
rosalina's ice world is def trash, esp how the best part is the 'big hole/halfpipes' but the camera is garbage during that part
mk8dx RR is def overrated af and i agree totally
NY minute might be my least fav city track besides Tokyo but putting it over Athens, Rome and Bangkok is wiiiiild to me

shroom ridge is the most fun to play and if ur good u can win by like a half a lap if u have a good build cuz u can get hella UMT's esp on the final run to the finish line, both shortcuts are dope too
I HATE Grumble Volcano so no 'we dont all have it near the top' lol
While i disagree with a LOT of this i gotta say, i DO appreciate that you didnt just put all the BCP tracks near the bottom just cuz of graphical diff's and have a good mix esp in ur top 25 tracks cuz i think they're more fun now since each lap is unique vs playing the same tracks ive had for years that have 3 identical laps – really hope the next game has lots of segment/multiple route path tracks (dont have to be cities though)
HOT TAKE:
As a HUGE fan of the BCP (esp as i havent played an MK game since Double Dash so almost every track felt new to me) i love that 5 of your top 6 tracks are from BCP and not Base
yoshis island hella overrated, if u get rid of the theming its a very basic track – mid imo
LA Laps is at best D tier. Dragon Driftway is at worst A+ tier. Piranha Plant Cove also A+. Otherwise, I pretty much agree

I find it so interesting how people have such differing opinions. LA Laps and Wario stadium are bottom 10 for me, both 3DS and Wii are top 5 and I think that Vancouver Velocity is criminally high, being put netween Mushroom Gorge and Wii RR. This being said, I loved this video as it was so refreshing to see such a different list.

Finally, it’s refreshing to see New York Minute respect. I really do like the track quite a bit, and I don’t understand when people try to say it doesn’t represent NY well because it really does. I think people try to hinge on the less favorable ideas of what NY is when in reality the city is so remarkably culturally diverse and interesting. Yes there are rats, and there are some.. interesting people. But, honestly, that’s everywhere. Let’s talk about the more interesting aspects of NY Culture instead; the gigantic art scene all around the city areas, including galleries, pop-shops, graffiti art, and some of the most well known art museums in the world. The history of music in the city, such as jazz and hiphop. The vast cultural histories from all over the world coming together, as NYC is one of the biggest cultural melting pots in history. NYC isn’t just some glorified slum; it’s incredibly human

I wholeheartedly agree. This is by far the best Mario game ever. I so hope they bring back Toad's Factory, Defino Square, Dry dry Dessert, and Airship Fortess in the next Mario kart game.
I really can’t say no good things about Merry Mountain. I think they did a fantastic job. It pains my heart to put it low on the scale too because I love how beautiful it looks. I am a big Christmas/snow-themed kid. And the music is just cherry on the top. Oh! And the way they changed the cycle in GCN Sherbet Land did them justice. I love how they made it a December based track with an aurora filled night full of schmaltz and snow. I think to go back to the original MK64, Frappe Snowland would take place in December too because of the atmosphere they had. And I personally am a fanatic of Canada, so I think having a course in Vancouver is a great choice. I just wish Vancouver Velocity did more but other than that, I love how wintery it is, and the ice skating rink section is great.
