Who cares it's a good movie, most science is "guess work" anyway so this movies theories are just as valid, how would anyone know what. A wormhole would do to u if nobody has ever seen one..
That's why it's a movie. Being a Physics graduate student I agree with what all has been said but science fiction movies like this and Marvel movies and many more have helped popularized science, Physics especially, if not anything which is much required. Maybe someone out there out of curiosity would take up science subjects as a major and contribute one day, hopefully
I'm no scientist, but this is my favorite movie and I take issue with the AI comment in particular. Seeing what has happened with LLMs and what not just in the past year, it's not hard to imagine something like that being made available in 2067, the year the film is set in.
Didn't an open source LLM recently figure out how to do things with way less processing power than Google or Bing or ChatGPT currently require for their bots?
Also, weren't the Interstellar robots military tech? They're testing AI drones in the military as of just weeks ago, and Boston Robotics has robots and dogs running around doing gymnastics and shooting guns and shit. I know it's not true "intelligence" but it's pretty close in concept. That's now, and the movie is 44 years out from today.
I think the fiction part of SCIENCE FICTION pretty much makes it obvious it's not a documentary.

I always thought that the “beings” they mentioned throughout the film pulled Coop and Tars out of the black hole’s singularity before they were legit pulled in. And the whole 4th dimension wasn’t actually in the black hole, but a constructed “viewer” made by the beings in order for Coop to help communicate the data back to Murph.
Why they trash too much about interstellar science and no other science fiction movies?

Isn't science about the things we can prove? you know; observable? Almost nothing about Interstellar is about science, but science 'fiction' – you know, the thing that isn't true? So … why exactly does this video exist? …oh right, clicks.

They did not say how the blight was caused. The worm hole was made by someone they did not who or how.
Your robots today are made by man. In the future they will designed by other robots. So who knows what they will come up with, especially when we are on the cusp of the Quantum computers and possibly a singularity..
