I want to preface by saying I’m a massive fan of both bands, and this is made with love, if anything. I’ve always been fascinated by just how much they DO sound alike, and I think it’s childish to put GVF down for it. The majority of Greta’s discography is perfectly original material.
GVF looked up to Led Zeppelin’s capabilities of turning roots blues into mainstream, accepted blues-rock and this has obviously shown through in some of their own work.
