  1. Even tho “jojo” wasn’t initially a beatles reference it was for sure adopted as one and not just because of Joseph Walkman but even up to part 8 is jojo full of beetle imagery.

  2. The Music "Losing my Insanity" of Ronnie James Dio represents the iconic phrase of Dio Brando when He put The Mask, because Insan means "humanity" in Turkshi

  3. I'm curious, would you consider the term "Ripple" to be a reference to the Grateful Dead song of the same name? I don't think that there's any official confirmation, but I would guess that it is since Araki references the Grateful Dead multiple times later on in the series. Thanks for taking a deeper dive into one of the best aspects of JoJo!

  4. What do you think of including "Come Together" and other songs which may have been subtly referenced in the form of character traits and events in the story? For Battle Tendency I find that "Come Together", as well as more obviously "Englishman In New York", work as good examples.

  5. Have you ever been interested in covering Jorge Joestar? I have looked into a bit of it after seeing you mention it a fair bit before-hand and I do want to find my own copy whether digital or physical.

  6. This is not a question of mine but a common misconception of King Crimson and The World I sometimes stumble upon: people seem to think that if you stop time during a timeskip you suddenly become aware of time again and can attack Diavolo while in skipped time. I know this is wrong and it would be great if someone ecplained it in a video.

Holy shit, how did I never notice this. You are one of only two other people including myself i've ever heard bring up this Queen song before in my life.

  8. When you do the video for part 2 you should include "Owner of a Lonely Heart" by Yes. The main theme will play occasionally in the show when Joesph uses Hamon. You probably already knew that but just giving my two cents haha.

  9. I’d like to think Araki noticed the whole Dio=God thing and later on gave him a HUGE God complex.
Not to mention Diavolo Who’s stand is basically a complete opposite to Dio’s making him the Devil=Diavolo.

  10. Learning that JoJo was littered with references to Western music is the reason i started reading/watching it in the first place. And like many others, your original videos are the first videos on the series i ever watched. I think this format is amazing and cant wait to see you do more. I love you correcting all the obnoxious kids that for whatever reason just feel like they have to be right and try to "correct" you with misinformation. Its really frustrating that you get so many of those types of comments lol
