They should use ZPL's version of Rainbow Road. It removes the loops which makes it actually functional in Wii.

I don't know if you're aware of this but the variants on the tracks occur randomly.
The devs currently don't know of a way to select them manually or if it's even possible to do so.
There's still the original version of Yoshi Falls, for example.
So weird to see they included thst version of DS rainbow because there are functional versions.
