So what do you think is the best Kevin Costner western?
love all of them, postman has a special place in my heart
Wyatt Earp is one of the greatest movies ever. Any slander will not be tolerated.
Wyatt Earp is a masterpiece. Tombstone = Carnival Cruise Line and Wyatt Earp = Viking Cruise Line.
The Postman is clearly Sci-Fi, not Western. 🤨
Despite that misplacement in your list, Open Range is Costner's best Western.
Open Range
John Wayne is the GOAT this guy is a wannabe!!!
Of the ones you listed my order 1 being favourite
:7 The Postman
:6 Dances With Wolves
:5 Wyatt Earp
:4 Hatfields & McCoys
:3 Let Him Go
:2 Yellowstone
:1 Open Range
Postman is so underrated. Really good movie. Wyatt Earp is also pretty great. Both Tombstone and Wyatt Earp have strengths and weaknesses. Best Wyatt Earp Account is the novel by Matt Braun though.
Let Him Go is stupid. Learn how to tell your wife no before she gets you maimed and killed to get her way. She wasn’t even crying at the end.
I would probably place them in the same order except Open Range is better than Yellowstone in my humble opinion. It's not only a brilliant western, it's a brilliant movie. Fantastic story and fantastic characters with engaging dialogue that is often missing from this genre. I loved every minute of it.
I love The Postman it's one of my favorite movies ❤
Silverado is my absolute favorite western. It's not a deconstructed western or dark western or any of that other pretentious crap. If you have not seen it, I highly recommend it.
As you mention in your video, there are a couple of titles there I haven't had the pleasure to watch. Will have to give Let Him Go and Hafields & McCoys a watch. Good watch – thanks!
Open Range’s big gun battle is an all timer
Final consensus……the man has an amazing body of work in the western genre!
Kevin Costner is an all time favorite. Loved Dances with Wolves. Not sure I can pick my favorite western performance.
I was like Yellowstone at 2? No. And then 1 came, and I was like “ohh yea”.
Spot on with Dances with Wolves at number one. One of my favourite films of all time.
Looking forward to see Horizon!
Yellowstone would be on the bottom of my list, nr 3 Wyatt Earp, nr 2 Open Range ( great acting of two outstanding actors) and nr 1 Dances with Wolves!! That film made me go to the Black Hills and the Mid West and fall in love with it.
Silverado.. the last great western that stuck to the traditional western genre formula .. even if he didn't had a main starring role..
I love all of them, just watching Kevin Costner's acting is a very pleasant experience ❤👍👋💐🌺⚘️💯😍
Open Range for me
The Postman is a little bloated and could've shaved off 45 minutes or so. Wyatt Earp has some of the same problems and had the bad luck of coming out like 6 months after Tombstone, but The Postman and Wyatt Earp are still very solid movies. Open Range is my favorite Costner movie in general.
Yellowstone over Open Range?!! 🤦🏻♂️
