  2. Postman is so underrated. Really good movie. Wyatt Earp is also pretty great. Both Tombstone and Wyatt Earp have strengths and weaknesses. Best Wyatt Earp Account is the novel by Matt Braun though.

  3. I would probably place them in the same order except Open Range is better than Yellowstone in my humble opinion. It's not only a brilliant western, it's a brilliant movie. Fantastic story and fantastic characters with engaging dialogue that is often missing from this genre. I loved every minute of it.

  4. Silverado is my absolute favorite western. It's not a deconstructed western or dark western or any of that other pretentious crap. If you have not seen it, I highly recommend it.

  5. As you mention in your video, there are a couple of titles there I haven't had the pleasure to watch. Will have to give Let Him Go and Hafields & McCoys a watch. Good watch – thanks!

  6. Looking forward to see Horizon!
Yellowstone would be on the bottom of my list, nr 3 Wyatt Earp, nr 2 Open Range ( great acting of two outstanding actors) and nr 1 Dances with Wolves!! That film made me go to the Black Hills and the Mid West and fall in love with it.

  7. The Postman is a little bloated and could've shaved off 45 minutes or so. Wyatt Earp has some of the same problems and had the bad luck of coming out like 6 months after Tombstone, but The Postman and Wyatt Earp are still very solid movies. Open Range is my favorite Costner movie in general.
